Kaira's POV:
As decided we left my uncle's house at 6 in the evening after a teary goodbye and collecting well wishes from my paternal family. Sidharth had asked, more like ordered, Kiran bhaiya their driver to bring his car as he was against us going back in the bus for God knows why!
We had almost 4 hours to make another pack of memories which no doubt we did. Around 11 at night, Sidharth and I were standing in my driveway trying to say goodbye. It was kind of hard to let him go, but had to, so with a final kiss to my forehead he asked me to take care and slid back in his car. I couldn't sleep until late that night, as always thinking about Sidharth.
As it was late when we came, I couldn't meet my kid, who was fast asleep in his parent's room cuddling between them. But in the morning, he was the first thing I saw who was trying to wake me up with his small fists. I immediately pulled him in my arms and kissed his face affectionately showing how much I missed this packet of cuteness. He giggled and laughed as I started tickling him.
As it was evident, my whole day would be spent with him, playing, feeding, taking care of him and I loved every minute of it. He told me stories of his grandmother's place in his cute baby voice, he told me how much he missed me and his parents as well. He was so cute I didn't let him get off my lap even once. When both of his parents came home in the evening, we played around with them and it turned out to be a perfect family time.
The other day I had to meet up with Sree for milkshake's record label. It went well, to say the least. At first, she looked at me like I was an alien then after some explanation and little convincing she agreed to give the music industry a chance. Happily, I offered her a lunch date someday. When I had informed milkshake about this, he was mad that I offered something like that to his record label yet again after my convincing skills paid off, he was okay with it.
Today was Saturday, the day of milkshake's meeting with his record label, the day Preeti and I went shopping, the day Sidharth and I spend time together.
Preeti had her college till 2 today, so we decided that I come directly to her college, have some light snacks in her canteen then go to camp for shopping. Milkshake's meeting was at 2 as well and he needed moral support to not mess up. Which was the reason he was on the call with me right now as I walk my way in Preeti's college campus.
"Relax Milkshake! It's going to be good okay. Just act civil, don't get angry at anything they say and smile."
"But bunny—!" He whined again.
"No buts Milkshake. You will be on your best behavior. Okay? All the best. I'm here at Preeti's college now, I'll have to go and look for her." Hearing grumbling voices from him I hung up.
Ah he'll be alright.
Smiling I look around her campus. It reminded me of my college a lot. Standing under the big tree, I looked around in search of my sister in law after I texted her where I'm standing.
A min later I spot her short figure walking over towards me. I noticed she still hasn't found me as her eyes were looking around. Smiling to myself I walk forward to wave at her but then I notice something.
Panic in her eyes as a guy calls out for her.
She turns to glance at him and in an instant, faces towards me trying to escape but he had already caught up with her and pulled her harshly towards him by holding her wrist.
Now that's some misbehavior I wouldn't tolerate.
Narrowing my eyes I take a few steps towards them wanting to hear what is going on. Looking around, nobody cared what type of abusive behavior this individual was up to.
