Kaira's POV:

"I'm not scared." I deadpan "Not of him."

Sree looks at me, her palm on my knee in comfort as I tell her about the incident that happened years back.

"Then what's your problem?"

"Sree, I don't give a damn if he is back. If he looks at me like that again, I won't think twice before slapping some sense into him. I'm over it and I don't care anymore." I snap before my shoulders sack "I just- don't know how to tell Sidharth."

She shrugged nonchalantly "Why not? Just call him and tell him what happened. It's not even that complex."

I laughed "I know, but- Sree it would have been easy if it was anybody else. Its..."

She raised her eyebrow in question "So what? He likes you, doesn't he? He would understand your reaction-"

I interrupted her "Its family! How can I point out a finger at family? He loves and respects relations so much, I just can't get myself to talk to him."

"Enough bunny! We are going home tomorrow and you are going to Sid and telling him everything, I don't care!" Milkshake stormed in our room interrupting my friend with whatever she was going to say.

"He won't think any bad of you, more likely he'll stand by you!" He snapped throwing his hands on his hip looking down at me disappointed.

"But it's his- Brother. How can I come between brothers? Whatever be the result of him knowing that incident, it would create a gap in their relationship, and god forbid maybe even ours."

"You told him you don't like Karthik and the reasons the first time you knew about his friends! They are like brothers too! You didn't think so much at that time, idiot!" He snapped dumping down in front of me.

I felt Sree going stiff in her already straight posture. I smiled inwardly, knowing how they affected each other.

"I don't know milkshake- its blood related here and..."

"And you are saying blood related are more important than heart related?!" His jaw dropped open in surprise "What is wrong with you bunny?!"

"Milkshake-"

"No. Don't milkshake me! You are going to spill your guts out and tell him everything, tomorrow itself." He told me in authoritative voice.

I knew our discussion was over for the day.

He told us to call it a night and went back to his room. Sliding under the covers I switch off the light. Noticing Sree's still stiff posture I called out her name.

She jerked out of her thoughts looking at me "I agree with him, Kiri. You need to tell Sidharth tomorrow itself. Before his brother stuffs his head with illusions to complicate your relationship."

I smiled at her concern "I wouldn't be worried with that, Sree. I know Sidharth and he wouldn't judge me or anyone on the basis of other people's opinions. He'll talk to me if he wants to know something. I trust him."

She gave me a faint smile "Good for you."

Sending a quick goodnight text to Sidharth, I let sleep take me in her arms.

"I'll drop you at Sid's home directly." Milkshake announced as we hit city.

I narrowed my eyes at him "Can't I at least go home and freshen up before going over?"

"Nope. It's already 7, you won't get your ass out of bed once you lie down and I can't take your shit anymore, you need to tell Sid tonight." He snorted.
