~ Chapter Fourteen ~

••Harry••

I glared at Georgia's back as Megan's jaw fell open, her mind was spinning in confusion as thoughts whizzed in and out. I ignored the thoughts of blowing me off in the cleaners closet (although it was tempting) and realised that this meant a lot to her. Georgia hasn't told her before now and that had pissed her off; a lot. Georgia giggled slightly as Megan continued to gawp, her mind starting to collect its thoughts although most of them were still jumbled. I watched as Jade picked up on what was occurring between the two best friends and nodded slightly at Jess stood at the front. How many eyes on this poor girl?

Georgia spun around, glancing at me guiltily. I shrugged and glared at her, informing her I wasn't impressed with the way she'd addressed the matter. No longer than a couple of seconds later, Meg turned around to glare me.
"Lads, we need to leave. Like now!" Liam grabbed Niall and Zayn as we ran around to the door. So much for watching the girls.
"Why did we just leave them? I thought you wanted to 'keep an eye on your girl'?" Niall raked his hand through his hair, styling it slightly as we rushed down the hallways.
"Georgia told Megan." All three of them had blank expressions. "You don't get it. Georgia told Megan my name; she told me that I was 'the Styles kid in her garden'." I rolled my eyes, letting the information sink in.
"Not exactly attractive is it mate; 'Styles kid in the garden. I mean garden, why not the-" I spun around, glaring at Zayn as we stopped outside Louis' drama class.
"We need Louis, he'll know what to do." My hand found the roots of my hair, pulling at them in frustration. This was too much; Megan finding out my name (it doesn't really matter- one day she was going to find out- but it obviously meant a bit more than that to her!), Georgia and Megan arguing (the last thing I needed was more fucking drama and distractions but, guess I can't get my damn way), Jade realising Megan isn't a bitch (a 'fucking finally' moment), Jess and Niall getting off in music. I shuddered at the thought. I can't handle much more before someone gets hurt.
"Mate, calm down. Louis'll be out soon ok? Then we can all talk." Liam grabbed my elbow, dragging me to the water fountain. "Drink."
I rolled my eyes at his stubbornness but doing as he said so. It wasn't quite the same, but it clenched my thirst slightly and calming the fire inside me.

I flickered my eyes towards Jess, her face concentrating on the sketch book in front of her. I smiled to myself seeing her so content, so lost in her own work despite the extreme drama surrounding her. Having such a (handily) calm and collected best friend is such a bonus. (Thing is, she's incredibly attractive and when your brother happens to be dating her, it's a pain in the ass to say the least. But I'll live; have done for the past 6 years). I watched as her wrist flicked and curved, smudging and shading or just gentle, sweet strokes across the page. A dimple indented above the right side of her lips telling me she was smiling. A giggle escaped her mouth as I blushed. She caught me.
"Oh Styles, you should take a photo; it lasts longer, babe." I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks as she sent a wink my way.
"Oh hush up, pal. I just feel so much more calm watching you draw, is all." Jess grinned at me, swinging her legs in front of her to cross them. I did the same, the sofa dipping in the middle between us.

"So how'd it go? Today, with Meg and G? Or even my sister?" I sighed.
"Not well at all." Her eyes were sympathetic.
"I saw you guys leave and then Georgia came and stood with me, away from Meg. And Jade was actually giving Megs positive looks. Interesting huh?" Again I sighed.
"I don't really know what happened, but all I know is Georgia told Megan what my name was and it triggered memories causing her to feel offended. I guess 'cause G didn't tell her before; I'm not entirely sure." Jess nodded, her brain processing the information. She picked at her nails, brow furrowing in thought.
"Do you want me to chat to Georgia, or is that to obvious?"
"I dunno. I guess you could try, but you know because Liam's her brother, everything you say will be said to Liam and he'll tell all of us. So no tricks." Jess rolled her eyes. I threw my hands up in defence. "I was just saying, the others'll find out..."
"I know, I know. Sometimes it's a pain the ass having G's brother so close to you lot." I agreed.
"Do you wanna talk tomorrow at Uni-"
"Hey guys, um, dinner's almost ready." Niall interrupted causing Jess and I both to raise our eyebrows.
"'K, 't's fine." Niall nodded awkwardly before leaving. "Isn't he adorable?" Jess' eyes deepened slightly as love practically danced around us.
"No! He's my brother. He's 21. Why the hell would I think he's 'adorable'?" Jess shrugged, clearly slightly offended. I softened my tone as I continued. Anyway, you wanna talk to G tomorrow then? Don't you have music with her?" Jess nodded.

"We better run. Niall'll get jealous if we're in here any longer." I smirked at her ridiculous comment.
"We're best friends; why are we not aloud to be all secretive now?" She laughed. "How about I just carry you in? Then he'll have a reason to get jealous." She started to protest but I just smirked at her. Jess continued to squeal as I picked her up and slung her over my shoulder.

Off to work we go...

{Authors Note}

Note: 1) Guys, I'm so incredibly sorry I didn't update 'till now. I really wanted to, and there's been so many ideas floating about, just waiting to be let loose. And they were. But Wattpad thought it could play up and stop me from updating. So, that's my (stupid) excuse. 2) Aren't Harry and Jess a cute #BFF's couple? Ok, that was a bit odd. I love them together (as friends!). You'll get to know them a little better around each other as the book moves on. 3) Niall; adorable. All I need to say there.

Dedication: All of you. For being amazing and very, very wonderful. I love you all and thank you for your constant support.
