ABSTRACT 0.2 : LUKE HEMMINGS
The dandelion.
I knew I'd blown it one final time. I knew all the time in the world was gone. I knew nothing more of our little black and white life was worth thinking about, but yet I found myself doing just that. Every time I took a look in the mirror, realising Mike wasn't behind me sorting out his hair and Calum wasn't whining about the stupid blonde bits he'd put in just left I'd left, that weren't in the right place. It was odd walking into a kitchen that wasn't full of hungry vampires, but empty with my thoughts. I'd told Megan I would be back, right by her side when she'd found out. But I wasn't. I knew she knew; I could feel my heart pounding slightly faster at the new, delirious news. Yet, I couldn't go. I wouldn't go. Not until I'd got Reneé.
She knew all I wanted was comfort. All I needed was them. But she also knew that I needed my answers. And I was going to get them. With her help. Gemma had always known everything; from the way the clock ticked to the way Harry would kiss Megan on their first date. Which is why I was here. Outside the one place I vowed never to go back; The Ministry of Science. A place for the 'smarties': Gemma.
