~Chapter Eighteen~
[Two Weeks Later]

"Georgia, pass me the water please?" I giggled as Georgia stretched across the table, grabbing the dirty water and passing it beside her to Jess.
"You do realise that you were-"
"I'm a lazy ass ok?" Again I laughed, shaking my head. I heard a gasp as I firmly stroked the brush across the final part of my painting. I looked up to find Georgia's eyes wide, fixed on my paper as her jaw fell open. I blushed slightly.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"What do you mean 'what'! How did you not tell us before how good an artist you were?" I shrugged, trying to hide my growing red face, but failing.
"I just... Painted." I look up, Jessica in silent laughter as Georgia just looks at her in confusion.
"Wha-" I was cut of by Jess bursting out with her usual laughter, sounding too much like Niall. I looked over my shoulder just to double check he hadn't stumbled in.
"I don't really know; I think it's the way you said 'painted'. I think." I nodded slowly, still very confused.
"When are the lads getting back?" Georgia opened her mouth to speak but shut it again when the door was swung open, Niall running down the hallway and grabbing Jess by her hips, swinging her up and over his shoulder.
"Niall!" She screamed, expecting him to put her down.
"Honey, I need you." Niall's voice was hoarse indicating he was incredibly in need of a-
"Blowjob!" Georgia let the words slip out her mouth, before slapping her hands over her mouth and blushing as laughter escaped my own mouth.
"No, I'm painting with the girls. Go jack-off with Harry or someone else as horny as you." Jess wriggled out Niall's grasp as he groaned, winking at G before jogging off. "Honestly, what is he like?"
"Sexy, turned-on teenager!" I shrugged as did Jess.I looked over at her painting, the detail and intricate patterns catching my attention; noticing the lack of colour, I smiled at her use of light and shade using the black and white paints. Damn she was good. I glanced at Georgia's page, full of different eyes, mouths, noses and other body parts (including a gorgeous picture of Zayn's hand), all pencil drawn and shaded- she hated water colour. I then looked down at mine; a crappy, disgusting mess of an attempt at a drawing of lips and vampire teeth. It was shit. I ripped the paper out the book and slid it under the water pot, hoping someone would ruin it for me. The blank white page suddenly seemed intimidating as Jess looked up and smiled, flicking me in the face with water. I chuckled.
"Alright, Meg's?" I sighed, looking at the water pot and the shitty artwork beneath it. Jessica seemed to have noticed as she pulled it out from underneath and walked to me, placing the work in front of me. I shook my head; words unable to let out. "Why do you undervalue yourself so much?" I stared into her deep blue eyes, the circle of grey around it thinning as her face overcame a look of concern. She's not good with words and I know, but that question seemed to have been lingering on her tongue for awhile.
"I agree," Georgia put down her pencil and got up. "You need to stop thinking you're terrible at everything; you really aren't." I nodded, Jessica pulling my chair round so I faced the two.
"I'm the worst human with words- they're a bit of an ass if I'm honest- but there aren't enough the describe how beautiful everything you do is." Jess slapped my thighs, causing me to giggle as Georgia took charge or cheering me up.
"This is amazing ok? I hate paint and water and the two together, but trust me, you make me want to use it all the time- it's incredible what you can do in a couple of hours. Don't ever think this isn't good enough for anyone besides yourself. Stop caring about what others think of you and have a firm foundation." G knew I was a wreck without my guard up, but I let it down with the people I love and I guess this is the line. And I crossed it.
"I don't care-"
"Yes you do. It's fake- and I know it- that whole 'act' of the badass slut you make yourself out to be. I've known you for what, two weeks? And I can tell you have a line, a guard and an invisible shield for the world, but it's ok to let it down every once in a while. Georgia knows that as well as anyone; stop pretending. At least with us." Jessica had her hands on her hips, a frustrated look on her face as she let her words sink in. These girls are incredible; believe me.
"We love however you come." Georgia needn't say more because tears were slowly falling down my cheeks, stroking them away, G got up with her hand in mine and dragged me into the kitchen.
"The boys'll be back soon- let's cook?" I suggested, fed up of sinking in my own hole.
"Great idea! I'll grab the ingredients for muffins? Chocolate?" Jess screamed at the top of her lungs, prancing about the kitchen us I laughed.
"Did you need to ask?" Georgia spluttered out, still clutching her stomach at Jessica's over exaggeration. She loved food: food loved her.----------------------------------------
"Baby did you make these?" Harry asked with a mouthful of muffin, his eyes wide in shock. I nodded as he attempted at a smirk. (Failing, due to the amount of cake in his sinful mouth).
"H, that's gross!" Jess grimaced, but was soon replaced by a sweet smile as Niall whispered something in her ear, his hands twisted against hers. They were too cute. Harry shrugged.
"Georgia? Any idea where your brother may be?" Zayn stumbled in, bags occupying his muscly arms. "I got his shopping here- he left it in my car."
"Not sure babe, ask Jay." Zayn kissed her cheek, walking out the house (once again- third time in the past hour, several different things with him each time).
"You two an item yet?" Liam walked in, holding my painting. We all looked at each other, thinking the same thing: ironic. Niall lead the laughter, his hyena like cackle effecting us all as a chorus of 'oh my gods' and 'if only he knews' followed. Liam raised his eyebrows.
"To answer your question: no." Georgia looked disappointed as she answered her brother; I'm gonna have to get Zayn to grow some fucking balls and ask her. He's crazy about that chick.
"Oh, right." Liam walked out again, a muffin in his hand. "Damn these are good!" He muttered under his breath, just loud enough for me to hear. Sweet.
"I think we should bake those more often, Jess. They did well with everyone who's eaten them so far." I rested myself between Harry's legs, his arms wrapping around my waist as I intertwined our hands. If only everyday was like this; I'd fall in love with the concept of life again...
"Apart from me!" Georgia sighed.
"You don't count; you hate muffins!" I laughed.
"I'm gonna go find Zayn, or Liam or Ash- see you later!" Jess and Ni waved, still giggling about something.
"Have fun!" Harry kissed her cheek as I half hugged her, still connected to Harry making it difficult. "And tell Mikey to text me will you?" G nodded and left the house."I miss the other lads, don't you?" I sat down and picked up my pen. "And Lou." Ni nodded.
"It's weird without him, hope he's having a good time 'cause it's bloody awful without him!" Niall stated, fiddling with Jessica's hair.
"Can't believe he just left with Rich and Robin. Didn't even leave a damn note!" Jess retorted, clearly upset that her best friend had gone; they can't be separated without blood, sweat and tears. They're joined at the hip- much like Jess and H but more glue.
"At least his Dad left a note; Mum was loosing her shit!" Harry smiled, remembering the day Anne woke up to nothing but a note from Rich on the fridge. Honestly.
"Enough about Lou. I miss Ash and Luke and that lot; it's been fucking ages since they've been at college. Why?" Ni shrugged.
"Mikey was ill last week- you know that- but I dunno about the other three." Harry's eyes darted about the room as he spoke. Odd.
"Cal called last night, Meg's- we're ok to have the sleepover tonight!" Jessica informed me. I whooped causing the other three to laugh. Today was a good day. A very good day.{Authors Note}
