After they were done with the tour, Bail took Obi wan to the Registration Center for housing and to give him an official introduction and integration. When they went into the Entrance Hall of the Registration Center, they went to the desk. The woman at the desk gave Obi wan a shock when he saw her. He should have been expecting to see her, she was dead and he had seen it. It was Padme Amidala!

"Padme" he gasped.

"Surprise!" she said. "It's been a while,"

"I'll leave you to it." said Bail as he turned around and left.

"Well, I'll give you the official introduction." said Padme. "Welcome to the Valley of the Force. I know your Receiver- oh I'm sorry, I mean Bail. The person who meets you is called your Receiver. As I was saying, I know your Receiver told you a little and gave you a tour. I am here to give you an official introduction, get you a job, and a home. First of all, everyone can use the force, but Jedi can use it to greater extent, and better. Everyday people can only lift small objects and a few other things."

"Everyone?" asked Obi wan.

"Yes" replied Padme.

She demonstrated by force-lifting a datapad.

Also, everyone here can't die, but they can be hurt, and badly. If you are hurt though, you will heal faster than an average person.

"It is my job to settle you. Do you want to start with a job or a house?" asked Padme.

"A house I believe." replied Obi wan.

Padme went over to a bookshelf and removed a datapad  labeled Housing. She scrolled to a section labeled Skyrise. She said ""I need to find you a job and housing. Bail mentioned that you wanted a skyrise apartment. Aha, here's a good one. Bail lives there."

She showed him some pictures of the apartment. " Will that do?" she asked.

"That's fine," he replied.

"Okay, let's look at jobs now."

She traded her Housing datapad for one labeled Jobs. She scrolled through the lists, muttering things like, "No, not that one, definitely not," until she said, "Okay I found two that might suit. How about teacher?"

"No, I had enough of that with Ana- padawans." stated Obi wan.

Padme paused for a moment, with pain in her eyes. She then said "Let's find something that suites,"

She continued flipping through the jobs, muttering as she went. She asked him about more jobs, none of them feeling right.

After hesitating for a moment, Padme said "This next job is special and unique. I need to ask you a question that may sound strange: were you ever instructed how to communicate with the living from the dead?"

"Yes, actually. Master Yoda taught me right before I left for Tatooine," replied Obi wan.

"Then if you want it, this job is perfect: would you like to work on a way for others to communicate as well?" Padme enquired.

Something inside Obi wan clicked. "Yes, I would like that very much,"

"Okay. Then I will give you directions to your home and a map. Your job starts a week from today. Your job is at the Tech Center. You will work in S.C.: Special Communications. I hope to see you again soon, Obi wan," said Padme with a smile.

"Goodbye, Padme," said Obi wan, with a smile of his own.

-SW-

He walked down the street away from the Registration Center, towards Tree street. When he reached it, he walked down to number 15. Number 15 was a metal and glass skyrise apartment building.

The receptionist sitting at the front desk was a pretty young woman, with pale skin, brown eyes, and almost black hair.

The receptionist asked "Are you new?"

"Yes, Padme sent me," replied Obi wan.

"Well, then: welcome. You are on the 50th floor. Apartment 3D. The turbolift is down the hall, on the left," said the receptionist. "Oh, by the way, I'm Sara,"

"Nice to meet you, Sara," said Obi wan

He walked down the hall, called the turbolift, and stepped in when it arrived. The turbolift stopped on the 20th floor, and a blond-haired woman stepped in.

"Going down?" asked the woman, her face coming into view for the first time.

"Satine!" gasped Obi wan.
