Padme awoke before Anakin in the morning. Careful not to wake him, she got out of bed. She went to the kitchen, made a cup of Kaf, then sat down at the kitchen table with her datapad and cup. Sipping the hot liquid, she scrolled through her notifications.

There were a lot of new arrivals coming to the Valley later that day. She scanned the list of names, assigning Receivers to each of them. When she reached a familiar name, she stopped. Smiling slightly, she checked the time, then made a call.

Ahsoka woke to the persistent beeping of her commlink. It was later than she usually woke, but her late nights were catching up with her. She keyed on the commlink and sleepily said, "Hello?"

"Hello, Ahsoka, did I wake you?" Padme's voice asked.

"It's fine. Why are you calling?" Ahsoka said, her voice still raw from sleep.

"There's a new arrival to the Valley coming today. I think you should Receive them." Padme responded.

"Who?" Ahsoka yawned.

"Lux Bonteri." Padme said.

All sleepiness gone, Ahsoka sat straight bolt upright. "Really?!" She exclaimed.

Padme chuckled. "Yes. I thought you would want to meet him."

"Yes, I do, thank you, Padme." Ahsoka said sincerely.

"Well, he's arriving in an hour. You should get ready. Also, just a warning Ahsoka, Steela Gerrera is here in the Valley. I though you would want to know." Padme said.

Ahsoka's heart sunk just a little. "Thanks, Padme. I'd better go."

"Bye."

"Bye." Ahsoka said.

She dressed in her usual outfit and touched the ring on her finger for reassurance. She took a breath and went to find her fiance.

Ahsoka waited in the lush meadow where she had fisrt arrived in the Valley. So much had happened since then. How much time had passed in the Galaxy? A month? A year? More? She shook her head. It didn't matter. Lux would be here soon. Butterflies fluttered about in her stomach at the thought. He was coming to her...

But would he still love her? Steela was here too. Would he love her, instead? She pushed the thoughts down.

She was startled out of her thoughts by a bright flash. Lying in front of her was Lux Bonteri. She kenlt next to him. He opened his brown eyes and stared up at her. "Ahsoka?" He breathed.

She smiled. "Hey, Lux. I missed you."

He sat up and stared at her. "But...how?"

Her smile melted a little. "Well, Lux, welcome to the Valley of the Force. This is where we end up when we...die."

Lux nodded, seemingly not bothered by the fact that he was dead.

"Doesn't bother you that you're dead?" She asked.

He shook his head a little. "Not really, because all that does matter is that you're here with me."

Then he kissed her. She leaned into him, wrapping her arms around his neck. When they finally broke apart Lux said, "I missed you so much, Ahsoka." He took her hand and smiled that it still had his ring on it.

"I missed you too, Lux. I was miserable without you." Ahsoka admitted truthfully.

"Same. It's been more than a month for me." Lux said.

Ahsoka sighed, her voice breaking as she said, "It's been about three for me. Time is different here..." Lux pulled her towards him and let her cry into his chest. "Shh, I'm here now."

Eventually, she composed herself and looked into his brown eyes, the eyes that had stolen her heart. "How did you... die?" She asked quietly.

"Well, the Rebellion beat the Empire and is now the New Republic, but there are still some people loyal to the Empire fighting. I went to a formerly-Imperial world and tried to negotiate. One of them whipped out a blaster in a supposedly weapon-free zone and got a lucky shot. That was that." He explained. Ahsoka nodded slowly and kissed him again.

They got up and went to the speeder. On the way back, Ahsoka explained what had happened in the Valley recently. When they were almost back, Ahsoka slowly voiced, "Lux, um...Steela is here, too."

Lux looked her straight in the eye. "Tha doesn't matter to me, Ahsoka. I love you. Not Steela, not someone else. You."

Her final worry gone, Ahsoka smiled a true smile. She was whole.

A/N: A little short. Well, Luxsoka!

May the Force be with you!
