19-mission

And now that he was here, with her, he had no idea what to do. She did, she leaned in and kissed him. He pulled her into a hug. He let the tears fall. Releasing all the grief. She let him. She brushed the tears off with her thumb and put her hands on his shoulders. "Now that we are here we have a chance to make everything right. I'm here, you're friends is here. We can fix everything."
He smiled weakly the straightened up. "We have to stop the plague first." He looker her in the eye. "Then we can fix everything." She nodded and stood up.
Anakin came in a few minutes later finding the, hunched over a Data pad. He looked at Satine then at Obi wan and decided not to ask.
"I rigged it." He handed Obi wan the comlink and stood back. Obi wan switched the device on and began to speak. "Everyone, get to shelter! Get inside! Find the closest building! Don't use the Force! It will infect you! Help any infected get to safety. To all Jedi: sharing the Light Side heals! Use in emergencies only!" He repeated the message then shut down the comlink.
He turned to Anakin "We need to find the source of this thing. If only we had hazard suits."
"There are some in the mechanics shop but we can't go outside to get them." Anakin responded.
"We could use a speeder. There's one in the back. It's old but it works." Satine said.
Anakin nodded. His cheeky smile returned. "I can fly anything."
Obi wan rolled his eyes. "You crash every ship you fly then blame it on the ship." After he said it he froze. He looked at Anakin. Sadness filled his eyes. Obi wan knew why. Ahsoka had said that very thing. It was no wonder that Anakin looked sad. Ahsoka had meant very much to him and he had lost her. She had left the Jedi order after being wrongfully accused of murder.
"I saw her, Obi wan, she joined the Rebellion. She survived Order 66. I-Vader-tried to kill her. There was an explosion... I don't know if she's alive." Anakin said softly.
Obi wan replied "She must be alive because she's not here."
Anakin nodded slowly then shook himself and asked Satine to take them to the speeder. They went and Anakin climbed into the pilot seat and Obi wan climbed in shotgun. they lowered the roof and sealed it as well as they could.
Obi wan rolled down his viewport and looked at Satine. "Are you coming?" He asked. She shook her head and smiled. "I'm going to do more research. If i need something or found something important I'll call you." She held up her comlink.
Obi wan nodded and rolled the window back up. They pulled out and went to their office building. They entered the hangar and closed the doors. They ran to Anakin's office and found his supervisor slumped on the floor. Anakin knelt and checked his vitals.
"Same as the others."
Obi wan nodded. They moved him to the side and collected the hazard suits. Obi wan put his on and turned to find Anakin in his holding another.
Obi wan raised a quizzical eyebrow and Anakin said "I grabbed it for Padme. She's smart and has experience with the Dark Side." Obi wan nodded slowly and they ran back to the speeder.

"Of course I'll help." Padme said, looking at the floor. She had looked at anything other than Anakin since they had arrived. She mustered her courage and looked up. "We need to find where this is coming from." She turned to her data pad and pulled up an image of the weather patterns. The storm clouds seem to have spread from a certain area. Padme looked up, eyes filled with concern. "It's coming from the Arrival Zone." Obi wan knit his brows. That was an area permeated with the Light Side. People could enter there because it was a nexus of Light side energy. The Valley relied on it for the everlasting life it provided. It if remained infected everyone would fade. They would not die, they were already dead. They would simply cease to exist. That was not an option. "Let's go."
