Obi Wan waited at the end of the aisle for the doors to open. Music came on and Ahsoka came out in a fancier dress-version of her regular attire, and began spreading a trail of rose petals. Then, the wedding march began and Satine came out. She looked radiant in her gown. It was a white ballgown with a deep V neckline and off the shoulder straps. There was a belt of sparkling blue stones around her waist and a silver rose pin in her hair as the only adornments. Her veil was a simple piece of lace trailing from her elegant bun.

Obi Wan couldn't help but think she was the most beautiful woman in the world. When she finally reached him he took her hand. Their eyes locked and it felt they were the only people in the galaxy.

Master Yoda presided over the ceremony which everyone thought was strange. He began "Marriage, a union is. Together you shall be for all time here. Pledge do you that will you honor and respect each other, for each other care in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, and be faithful to each other for as long as gives the Force?"

Obi Wan and Satine smiled at each other. "We do."

"Vows, please declare." Yoda continued. "Satine?"

"Obi Wan, I loved you since I first saw you. Now that we are here, I take you as my husband, promise to love you always, be faithful, stand by you in good times and bad, and stay with you as long as the Force permits." Satine said, from her heart. Obi Wan smiled at her, his eyes full of love for her.

"Obi Wan?" Yoda prompted.

"Satine, when I saw you in that lift, I thanked the Force for putting me in that building. Anywhere else at any other time I would have missed you entirely. I loved you on Mandalore, I love you now. I take you as my wife, promise to always love you, be faithful, stand by you in good times and bad, and stay with you as long as the Force permits. I love you." Obi Wan said, his eyes locked with Satine's now tear-filled ones. There were 'awwes' from the crowd

"Rings, symbolize your love they shall. Skywalker?" Yoda continued. Anakin held out the cushion to Obi Wan and Satine.

Obi Wan slid the small, rose-gold ring onto Satine's finger and she slid the larger gold one onto his.

"Kiss the bride, you may." Yoda finished.

Obi Wan leaned in and kissed Satine, dipping her slightly. Satine wrapped her arms around Obi Wan's neck and there were cheers from the crowd. When they broke apart, they smiled at each other and embraced.  They walked down from the podium and sat together in the seats saved for them. Anakin walked up to the podium and began to speak.

"When I first met Obi Wan, I was nine years old and a slave on Tattooine. Obi Wan was a Jedi and I was a small boy who liked Pod Racing. After Master Qui Gon decided that he was going to train me to be a Jedi I was thrilled. After I found out that he was killed I was terrifed that I would go back to being a slave. Obi Wan took over my training and took the rude, difficult boy that I was and taught me how to be a Jedi and a good person. Obi Wan, you are the best teacher I know, with more patience then I deserved. Now, you are like my brother and I am prod to call you my friend. Congratulations to you and Satine!" Anakin walked off and shared a heartfelt smile with his friend.

Padme replaced Anakin at the podium.  She was wearing a dark blue dress with lighter blue underskirts visible through a slit in the front. She said,

"I met Satine while I was serving in the Senate. We shared similar views on the war and became close friends. we shared many adventures on Mandalore investigating corruption and Death Watch. I must say that being shot at and taking down corrupt dock officials forms a bond." Padme laughed a little at this. "Obi Wan is also a close friend. He helped protect me on Tattooine and Coruscant. Both of you are like family to Anakin and I. Congratulations!"

After the speech, all the guests and the newly-weds went to celebrate. They filed out of the Shrine to the Force and went to the Ballroom space next door. The band struck up a Madalorian Waltz and the newly-weds began to dance together.

It was appropriate to dance that dance together. It was the first one they had ever had all those years ago on Mandalore. Obi Wan bent in and kissed Satine gently.

At that moment, of course, the doors blew open and a blast of freezing air rushed in. Standing in the doorway were the two people Obi Wan had wished never to see again.

Darth Sidious and Darth Maul had returned!
