Blinding Light. Incomprehensible sound. Pain. Where was he? Had he dreamed battling Sidious and meeting the essence of the Light Side? He didn't think so. Judging by how much is body hurt what Force had told him was true. Wait... how long had he been sleeping? It was hard to think with all the light so he muttered something about dimming them. The lights dimmed and there was a rush of activity around him. What had happened? What was all the fuss? His confusion began to recede when the world came into focus. He was in a bed in a dim room. There seemed to be many doctors moving excitedly about. Eventually, the activity lessened and he became awear of the steady beeping of a life support machine. So...hospital. Did the one Force blast actually take so much out of me? Apparently so.
The doctors retreated and Satine and many of his friends came in. Satine sat down in a chair next to him and he turned his head weakly towards her. "Hey." She said. He smiled. His eyelids felt heavy and he chided himself that he had just slept. His aching body didn't seem to care. He was somewhat aware of Anakin and Ahsoka? Off to his left. When had she arrived? "How long was I out?" He asked weakly.
"A month." Anakin said gravely. Obi wan's eyes shot open and he tried to sit up. He collapsed against the pillows, exhausted and racked with newly reawakened pain. His friends eyes were filled with concern and Satine's were red from crying. Satine put a hand on his chest. "Don't move Obi wan. You're not strong enough." He didn't respond. He couldn't. The waves of agony were worse than he expected despite Force's warning. He wished the pain would end and he slipped into the oblivian of sleep.

Anakin was concerned. scratch that-he was scared. After sleeping for a month then waking up, after about twenty minutes and Obi wan was asleep again. Then there was what had happened when he had tried to sit up. Anakin remembered when Obi wan had been almost blown up. That had been bad enough but Force injuries happened on almost another plane of existence. He had felt waves of agony rolling off Obi wan. Anakin was concerned about Obi wan's recovery. If Anakin was scared then Satine was terrified. She was trying to hide the extent but he knew she cried a lot. She had been so relieved when he woke but now she just looked more worried than ever. What exactly was wrong with his friend? The doctors said that his medichlorian count was strange-it was as if they had all exploded but Obi wan was as strong in the Force as ever-maybe stronger. No one knew exactly what had happened while Obi wan was in that coma. Obi wan was in no state to tell them.
The doctors found them all frozen around Obi wan's bed, staring at the steady lines of his pulse. They assured them that his body was trying to heal and needed rest to do that. They nodded numbly, mechanically, and were ashured from the room. Anakin caught a tinge of worry emanating from the doctors through the Force. That did nothing to boost his confidence about his friend.
