"Go inside and lock the door," Harry instructed as he walked me to my door after dropping off Eleanor and them at their houses. Of course, wanting to leave me for last, but for some odd reason I didn't mind. We just talked while listening to music in the car, acting as though what had happened just an hour ago, never even occurred.I could tell he was still upset but the way he kept sneaking glances at me in the car when he didn't think I'd notice. He looked at me just like he had the first day of school in Maths class. Like he was trying to figure something out. Like he was trying to figure me out.
I rolled my eyes at him over protective behavior, parting my lips to talk, "Why? Don't you want to sneak in again?" I spoke, raising an eyebrow at him. My voice was teasing, yet had a sense of seriousness in it.
Harry scowled at me, "Just do it, Samantha," He muttered, staring at me intensely.
I sighed, but nodded my head anyway. I turned to open my door when I stopped, dropping my hand from the cool metal door knob and turning to face him once again. He was turned, walking back towards his car when I called out his name, "Harry!" I shouted after him, causing him to stop in the midst of a step and turn back towards me with furrowed eyebrows.
"Yeah?" He asked, his voice low and enticing. I would never get tired of hearing it. British accents have always been my favorite but his is just soo different. A good different. A really good different.
"Thanks," I mumbled, playing with the bottom of my dress a bit as I looked up at him, "Even though you were a prick, I wanted to say thank you. I always seem to get myself into these ugly situations and you're always the one to save me. Sometimes I don't even know why you do it," I added, my voice fading towards the end as I was talking more so to myself than him.
I could hear his low chuckle followed by footsteps as he moved the few feet he was, towards me until he was standing right in front of me again.
"I told you I'd protect you," He whispered back, looking into my brown eyes. There was some emotion in them, dying to be seen but he hid it. He seemed to be doing a lot of that lately, covering up. But what exactly?
"But why? I seem to make that job pretty hard considering it seems like I get in some sort of trouble every freaking day!" I exclaimed, whining a bit at the fact that I never seemed to be able to stay out of harms way.
"You do, don't you?" He chuckled making me send him a playful glare which only resulted in him laughing harder.
"Harry!" I groaned, hitting him on the chest lightly.
He shook his curls, letting out the last of his laughing bit and cupped my face in his hands once more, staring into my eyes. I seemed to get lost in his emerald eyes, missing what he said. But my attention was back on him as he placed his lips on mine for a short sweet kiss, before pulling back. I pouted, missing the feeling of his lips on mine even though I knew I shouldn't.
He smirked at my pouty face, lowering his to place one last kiss on my lips making me smile like a fool.
"You're worth it," He whispered, before turning to make his way back towards his car.
"What?" I asked, confused. Did I miss something? What was I worth?
Harry laughed at my lost expression, shaking his head, "Maybe if you weren't staring at me the entire time, daydreaming about me, you would know," He called out before sending me a wink. I could feel my cheeks flush with his words before I turned walking into my house, locking the door behind me like Harry had said.
What did he mean?

"Samantha!" I could hear my father shout from down stairs, causing me to shoot up from my bed. My eyes flickered to the clock that hung on my wall reading; 8:23am. I groaned rubbing my head that was once again throbbing from the crazy night. I vaguely remember what happened once Harry dropped me off at my house. All I could think was, was how when I got home it was 4 in the morning so I just crawled my way into my bed, not bothering to shower or change out of my clothes before knocking out.
