If you're blond(e) irl just pretend you have darker hair, cool? Cool.

"Shit," you mumble. "SHIT!" you shout, looking at yourself in the mirror. "No no no no no this is not what I was going for!" Panicking, you call the one person you know who can fix this.

"I swear to all that is good, y/n this better be important because it is three in the goddamn morning!"

"I'm so sorry Peeps but—"

"Oh don't you 'Peeps' me y/full/n!"

"You know my middle name? How??"

"I work for the government."

You let an uncomfortable silence elapse. "Okay moving on," you prompt. "I need your help."

"With what? What could you possibly be doing at 3 am?" she asks, her morning grogginess fading into an annoyed undertone.

"Dyeing my hair?"

You hear a sigh.

"I'll be over in 20 minutes."

You shout "Thanks!" into the dead line. "Rude," you say to yourself. "Well now I wait."

What seems like a moment later you hear an angry knocking at your door.

"Hey, Peeps," you apologetically cheer.

"Oh my. You- you—" Garcia cuts herself off with her own laughter.

Aggravated, you roll your eyes. "I know, I know. It looks like—"

"Like a unicorn barfed on your head!" she finishes, wiping tears from her eyes.

"I was gonna say like I tried to gray-scale the rainbow but messed up."

Messed up is definitely the term. What was supposed to be a rainbow ended up being a dark, brownish mess of bleeding colors that were nowhere near as vibrant as you hoped.

"Y/n/n, sweetpea, you know you need to bleach your hair before you color it, right?"

"You're kidding."

"Sweet child! Okay, okay. Here's what we're gonna do. You're gonna invite me inside and we're gonna go to sleep. Then, at some time that ISN'T the butt-crack of dawn, I'll go to the store and get you some hair dye and hair bleaching agent. Sound good?"

"Yes," you reply. You sound bashful but in reality, you've always liked mama-mode Garcia. "Thanks, Peeps. How can I ever repay you?"

"Well, you could tell me why you call me Peeps."

You shrug as if it's obvious. "You're sweet, like, pure sugar sweet, but you have a tendency to blow up if put under the right conditions. And you're colorful."

"I like that," she says with a smile.
