Marshall P.O.V

"Only 5 more minutes and than we will be there, I promise" I said from the driver seat, while continuing driving to the place I'm taking Ashley.

" It's fine seriously, to admit I actually like long car trips" she replied giving me a sweet smile from the passenger seat. I know I said I wasn't going to move forward or do anything about these feelings I have for her, but after the fight we had at fifty's and not speaking for nearly a week, I realized my feelings were stronger than I thought and I hated not knowing if we were friends or not.

"You do? got to admit I don't mind them either" I agreed, I understand what she likes about traveling and having the peace and quiet away from the busy town, sometimes I drive down these dessert roads just so I can hear myself thing and have time to myself without worrying about the paparazzi being on my back and trying to start false rumours.

It didn't really take long before we both got involved in a casual conversation, just like we have been this entire night, its not really hard with Ashely since she is so laid back and is so easy to talk to. I sometimes forget that she is having some personal troubles because whenever we talk she is always smiling and looking happy, but I know that just because someone smiles doesn't mean they are always happy, its usually the smile that hides the pain underneath.

" Don't worry, I promise no one will see us" I said, while helping her out of the car. Watching her face turn into concern as she saw where I had brought her. Yes it wasn't the most private restaurant since its one of the best in Detroit, but luckily I know the owner and have whipped up a plan.

" its not that I don't want to be seen with you, it's just.... " she stuttered trying to find the right words to explain her concerns, but she doesn't have to explain anything to me since I understand she likes her privacy.

" Don't worry I get it, your just like me. You like your personal life to be private doesn't matter what it is" I replied smiling while watching her stretch a little. I cant help but admire her and how amazing she looks tonight, It still hasn't clicked that I am actually about to have dinner with one of the most stunning women in the music industry.

" come on, its freezing out here" I said quickly after realising that I was staring at her, without even thinking about it I gently grabbed her hand and began walking. Since I parked at the back I didn't start walking to the front of the Restaurant since my plan involves us not being seen.

" Um Marshall, isn't the restaurant that Way?" She asked hearing all the worry and concern in her voice as we walked behind these shops, I can tell she was freaking out a little bit, and I have to admit walking behind in this car park does seem a little scary, but there was no way I was planning on putting her in danger.

" yeah, don't worry I know the owner and have worked something out with him. Trust me it will be fun" I replied, within seconds feeling her loosen up. I know she doesn't trust people and if she is anything like me, those words would have gone in one ear and out the other. It was within seconds that we reached the back door and began walking through this long hallway, it wasn't until we reached this old stair case that I noticed how closely we were walking together, I didn't even realise that since I first grabbed her hand back at the car, our fingers have gone from barely touching to fully being entwined with each other and holding onto each other firmly and securely. Majority of first dates that I have been on, you never really hold each other hands, and if you do it would never be like the way we are, it was like it is normal for us and we do it all the time. To be honest I could be reading to much into this, but for some reason I feel that this is only the beginning of something, but I am not going to think about it to much since I felt the same way with Mariah and look how that turned out.
