Rest For a While: Is this True Love? (Jarida)

The Four defeated the darkness from Far Far Away, now it is time for the rest.

As promise, Jack wants to go out with Merida. Jack is walking around like he is not that confident, kicking rocks, whistling, and leaning on the tree. "Ughh..What am I supposed to say to her?", Jack said. "Well...why do you need to think about what you are going to say?", Hiccup asked. "I don't know....I just feel like I am going to be embarassed", Jack said. "Well, just.....wait a sec, you like her don't you?", Hiccup smiled. "What!..No....and I told you I just like Rapunzel....She is my only true love in my heart...even though she had Flynn", Jack said. "Well, just be yourself", Hiccup said. "Ya, be a Guardian that sucks at going out", Jack said. "Ughh...Whatever...I'll just have it my way", Jack said kicking the grass. "Heh....I wish you good luck Jack", Hiccup smiled.

Merida was carving her arrow. Jack exhales. "Don't worry Jack....I'll just go out with this girl....I just wish that she won't slap me", Jack said. He walked towards her. "Hey....uhh, can we go now?'', Jack said. "Ok...", Merida said. She stood up, but suddenly she stepped on a rock and Jack grabs her. Merida gasps and hurriedly stood straight. "Hehe....sorry", Merida said. Jack looked directly at Merida's face. And she looked back, "Uhh...can we go now?", Merida said. "Uhh...sure", Jack scratched his head.

The two are walking alone, "Ummm...where are we going?", Merida said. "I don't know....maybe everywhere", Jack said. Merida looked at him. "You don't know where we going do ya?", Merida said. "Uhh...kinda...I mean....yes", Jack said. "Come on". Merida grabs his arm and went to a lake. "Here...we can sit here", Merida said. "Hmm....I have something in mind", Jack said. He walked through the lake and turned it into ice. He made a skating shoes for Merida. "Here....let's skate", Jack said. Merida wore the shoes.

But she is too afraid. Jack was skating. He looked at Merida. "Hey....what's wrong?", Jack said. Merida looked down. "You can't skate?", Jack said. Merida nodded. "Don't worry...I'll teach you", Jack said. Merida looked at him. "Here....hold my hand", Jack said. Both of them skate. But Merida hugged Jack, "I can't", Merida said. "Come on...just like I taught you...don't look down...look at me", Jack said. Merida smiled as she looked at Jack. They both dance at the frozen lake. They were happy. But suddenly, the ice was about to crack. Merida gasps. "Jack!", Merida shouted. Jack flew up high as he saw the ice cracked. He was shocked, because he remembered his sister. "Are you ok Jack?", Merida said. "Yea....I'm ok", Jack said. "Let's go". The both of them went to another place.

"Jack...what is happening to you", he said talking to hiself. "I mean...she don't like me", he said. "Jack!...Let's ride over here", Merida said. "Where?", Jack said. "Here, in this boat...let's ride on it", Merida said. "Well...ok", Jack said. The both of them sat on the boat. Merida looked up in the sky, and there were many stars. "Oh...Merida, I bought something for you", Jack said. He showed dumplings to Merida. "Oh! Jack...Thank you...", Merida said. "Oh and uh....close your eyes", Jack said. Jack gets the flower made of ice....it means made by him. "Tada!", Jack said. "Oh! Wow!....You made this for me?", Merida said. Jack nodded. "Oh..Thank you". Merida hugged Jack. They looked at each other. And they're faces were close to each other. But Merida turned back as she saw the fireworks. "Jack! Look!", Merida smiled. But later, she looked down. "What's wrong?", Jack said. "Well....it's just my family....I miss them", Merida said. "Don't worry....you'll see them", Jack holds her shoulder.  

Both of them got back. "Hey Merida, thanks for going out with me, it's fun", Jack said. "That's nothing....Oh, I'll just go back there", Merida smiled. 

Jack hides in the tree. "What am I doing...", Jack said. "Hey Jack", Rapunzel came out. "Oh, Rapunzel...hi", he said. "So....how are you?", Rapunzel said. "I'm good", he said. 

"Merida.....what is this?", she said talking to herself. "Is this true love...I am feeling?", Merida said. Merida wides her eyes open. "That's it! I'll tell Jack that I like him!...No wait! I like like him...Whutevar! I just want to say that I like him! Yes that's right", Merida said. She ran happily, but suddenly her sweet smile on her face was gone, she walked slowly as she heard Jack and Rapunzel talking. "Jack...can I ask you a question?", Rapunzel said. "Sure yea....", Jack said. "Do you like or love Merida...or do you have any relationship to her? It seems like you're really close", Rapunzel said. Jack looked at Rapunzel, his eyes were quite sad and he really wanting to show Rapunzel that he really likes her."Uhhh....no, of course not, why would I like a girl like that....I mean, we don't match..., I am ice she is fire, probably never will...and besides, I am not really that close to her", Jack said. Merida cried and leans on the tree as she heard what Jack said. She just threw the flower Jack gave to her and ran away. "Jack. if you want to lie, don't say mean things like that", Rapunzel said. "Sorry, it's just that I'm a little nervous that's all, yes...she's my friend, but we were really not that close before", Jack said. "Are you close to her now?", Rapunzel asked. Jack sighs. "I don't know".

Hiccup was in the camp and saw Merida crying. "Hey....what are you doing...did Jack did something wrong?", Hiccup said. "Nothing.....nothing", Merida said crying. "Oohh...Merida, don't worry...it's just maybe he needs more time...maybe he likes you, a little,", Hiccup said while fixing the woods. "Like me!...Look I heard...We are never going to be together...this stupid love....We nevar match! He just said it Hiccup!", Merida said. "Well....maybe he was just nervous...sometimes guys feels that", Hiccup said. " Nevous? Look! It doesn't matter!...I will never ever be with anyone! I am not like the other gurls there! And Jack ulready said that there is no chance", Merida shouted. "So...are you saying this is finish?", Hiccup asked. "It's not just finish...it's OVER!", Merida ran away and be alone for a while. "Oh boy...", Hiccup whispered. 

"Hey Hiccup...where's Merida?", Jack asked. "Oh...she is just carving her bow...she'll go back", Hiccup said. Jack sat down beside Hiccup. "Jack...can I ask you something?", Hiccup asked. Jack nodded while eating berries. "Um...are you and Merida close?", Hiccup asked. "Yea....I mean we are like best friends", Jack said. "Ooooh...Do you think Merida will have a boyfriend like you?", Hiccup asked. "Of course, she is a brave girl and maybe she'll protect a guy like me hahahah", Jack laughed. "Oooooh, alright, that is nice to hear", Hiccup said. "Why'd you asked?", Jack asked. "Nothin....I just wanted to ask I guess", Hiccup smiled. Hiccup was right about what he said.
