Memories of the Warriors: The Alpha Dragon Rider (Part 1)

They just stared at him, he was confused. Hiccup can’t believe what he had seen. “Why are you all staring at me?,” he asked. “Wow, Hiccup…will you look like this?,” Rapunzel asked. “I hope so, look at him, he has armors and stuffs, and his hair is so cool,” Hiccup said. ‘’What  are you talking about?,” he asked. “You….you’re me! I’m Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, my father is Stoick the Vast, look…I have a Night Fury and it’s named Toothless too,” Hiccup said to him while smiling. “That’s impossible, I can’t have a double,” he said. “He has a point,” Merida smirked. “Oh come on, I’m not that bad, I’m good looking,” Hiccup said.

 “You don’t completely understand us, you are the past warrior for a long time ago, this woods might be giving us the next memory, and it’s you…you were gone long time ago,” Jack said. He just can’t believe them, he just shakes his head. “No, no, that is not true, if I was gone long ago, then why am I here?,” he asked. “Look, it’s because you’re just a memory,” Merida said. “So, you’re saying that I’m some kind of illusion? I mean, I’m not real?,” he shouted.

“No, it’s not that you never exist, you exist but that was a long time ago, we were also given a task to search the memories, and change it,” Jack said. He took a step back. “Change what!?,” he shouted, his dragon also named Toothless tried to protect him by growling at them. “Look, we know what will happen to you, and it will be very bad, you might regret it if you won’t let us help you,” Jack said. “What will happen to me?,” he asked. “Hiccup, remember anything bad that happened to you?,” Jack asked to Hiccup. “No, actually…I mean look at him, he doesn’t look like me, I mean I’ll look like him when I grow up, he looked like a grown up man, so I don’t know what will happen,” Hiccup said.

“Look, if you want me to believe you…then follow me,” he said. They all ride in Toothless’ back. “Where are we going?,” Rapunzel asked. “By the way, what’s your name?,” Hiccup asked. “Merida Dun’Broch, this is Rapunzel Corona,” Merida said. Rapunzel waved at him. “I’m Jack Frost,” he smirked. “You mean…the Jack Frost?,” he asked. “Yeap,” he answered. “I thought you’d be older,” he laughed. “I am old you can say…I’m hundred years old, I mean three,” Jack said. “Wow, I guess you’re lucky to look young,” he smiled.  “Wait, you haven’t answer my question, where are we going?,” Rapunzel asked. “In my home land,” he said. Hiccup got excited.

They saw Berk in land, the Vikings have their own mighty dragons, later on, Astrid came to him. “Hey Hiccup!,” he said. “Whoa,  she’ll look like this?,” Jack asked. “I hope so,” Hiccup smiled. “Oh…wait a minute, who are they?,” Astrid asked. “Oh, this is Jack, Merida, Rapunzel…and um, Hiccup,” he said. “Wait, why is your name Hiccup too?,” Astrid looked at Hiccup in the eye. “Ah…uhm, actually, I’m the future and younger Hiccup,” Hiccup said. “I don’t get this, what is he talking about?,” Astrid said. “It’s complicated, I need everyone to gather around, and welcome our new guest,” he said.

“I want you to talk with me clearly,” he said. “Ok Hic,” Merida said. “Why would you call me that?,” he asked. “So that I won’t get confused!,” Merida said. “Just call your friend Hic, not me,” he said. “Ugh, fine,” Merida said.  They all entered inside, and they saw those people that stared at them. “People, I need a moment of silence, these people are from the future, as they said, I want them to speak in front of the people to know what news they’ll bring to us,” he said. The people clapped at them. Jack decided to take this speech. “Good morning, I am Jack Frost…for your information, we are the Big Four, we saved the world from the darkness, and now…we were given a task to defeat Darkiana, the Queen of Darkness and find the missing memories, and if you’re going to look closely at my other friend with a dragon, his name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III! I know some of you are confused, but what happening right now is just a memory, you all were gone long ago, I’m sorry if I offended you, but it is true, and we are here to change the past, and for all of you to know, something bad is going to happen, and we are here to stop it!,” Jack said. “Liar! If we are just a memory, then why are we alive?,” Astrid asked. “Whoa, like boyfriend like girlfriend,” Merida laughed. “I know you feel alive, and I know you feel like you are standing in this world, but you are all just the past, and memories, you will all know it sooner or later,” Jack said.

The people in Berk just shouted at them. Jack tried his best. “Hiccup, if you don’t convince them to believe me, then it’s your choice, if you want the best for Berk, you have to listen to me,” Jack said. He just looked at Jack, and turned his head to the people. He nodded and came in front. “Tell me they are not telling the truth! We don’t believe them,” the past of Hiccup’s gang shouted. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “I am sorry….but I am going to agree with them,” he said. The people groaned. “Oh come on! You’re our Chief! You can’t just believe those enemies!,” they shouted. “We are not your enemies, we are heroes,” Merida angrily said.

“Everyone, stop!,” he shouted. All of the people kept their mouth shut. “Look, I am mad as you guys, but they might be telling the truth, think about this, I saw my future self, and the future knows more than past and that’s what I believe! I don’t have any choice, I only want what’s best for Berk…I am truly sorry, but I need to do this, for everyone,” he said. The people just stared at him as he walks out. The Four followed him. “Hiccup! Are you alright?,” they asked. “Look, do you think agreeing with you and thinking that you might be a treat is ok to me?!,” he shouted. “I’m sorry if we forced you, but this is the right thing to do,” Jack said. “Dad wouldn’t  agree with this,” he whispered.

“What do you mean?,” Hiccup asked. “He died…because I made a wrong decision, I thought it would bring peace, but….it doesn’t matter, right now…I need some time,” he said. Hiccup tried to follow him, but Jack pulled his hand. “I don’t understand, what just happened? Why did he just agreed to us that fast?,” Merida asked. “I don’t know, but we have to give him more time,” Jack said. They decided to rest in Berk, Merida said she would pay the expenses.

In that night, Hiccup followed him, he wanted to talk to him clearly. He just saw him laying on the ground. “Uh…hey!,” Hiccup shouted. “What! Who’s there!? Oh….it’s just ME, I guess,” he said. “Pssh, I’m not you, we’re both different, I mean, you look like a heck of a winner,” Hiccup laughed. “Whatever you say,” he said. “Tell me…what happened to you these past hundred years? I mean, you know what I mean,” Hiccup asked. He sat down and breaths deeply. “Berk was once a quiet and peaceful place without dragons, my dad told me to kill one so that soon I’ll become a Viking like him, but I couldn’t, I saw Toothless in the forest, I looked at his eyes, and I can see that he’s wounded, I let him go, but when I let him go, he came back for me. Back then, we were having a connection to each other, something that a human and a dragon wouldn’t have…friendship, because I felt so ready.

I decided to tell everyone and I went to Berk and introduced him,  dad got mad and tied him up, I was trapped too, but I managed to get out….when I saw Berk, it was burnt down by a huge dragon from the sky, the Alpha Dragon…I didn’t know it will all come to this, I shouldn’t have shown them Toothless yet…and back then, I fought with the monster, but when I was down so as Toothless, the Alpha Dragon breathed its fire, but my dad got in the way…he died and got burnt, and uhm…that is my whole story,” he said.

Hiccup just can’t say another word to him. “So, why agree on us that fast, did you even think twice to it?,” Hiccup asked. “I know you guys were here on purpose, good or bad, but I will go in the good side…when you told me that something bad was going to happen, I was afraid, I thought that my only choice…is to listen to you, he said. Hiccup looked at Toothless. Both of the dragons were playing. "Um...actually I don't really know what bad is going to happen, in fact, we don't have the same storyline, it was a little close, but surely my dad is still alive," he said. "I don't care, I trust you guys," he smiled.

“I…I’m sorry about your past,” Hiccup said. “Hm…I know, but right now, I have decided, I will agree with you,” he said giving his hand to Hiccup. They both shook on it.
