Rest for a While: The Secret Book

Finally, two more memories to be encountered by the Big Four and Jack will finally know what was Man in Moon telling him, but right now, he's confused more than ever. He lays down on a soft green grass and took a daisy flower. He was drumming his fingers on his knee and thinks of anything. Hiccup and Toothless came and saw him. "Hey uh...do you have any extra dragon nips Jack?", Hiccup asked. "Why'd you ask?", Jack said. "Nothing...I was just wondering, but I remembered..um...you actually don't bring stuffs like that", Hiccup laughs. Jack smirks and took something from his pocket. He threw a dragon nip to Hiccup. Toothless seemed to like it. "Wow, thanks man...where'd you get this?", Hiccup asked. "Nah...somewhere...in the woods maybe", Jack said. He was closing his eyes a bit because of the sunlight. "Mind if we join you?", Hiccup asked. Jack nodded. Hiccup eats his fish while Toothless is enjoying his time brushing his back on the soft grass. "Something goin to your mind huh?", Hiccup asked. "Yea, I just wish that it wasn't true", Jack said. "What's not true?", Hiccup asked. "The prophecy", Jack said. ''Pssh...come on Jack, they already said it, I mean, look at the stories of the past warriors they aren't the same way as Merida's and Rapunzel, you're really believing this thing?", Hiccup asked.

"I am not trying to believe it...I'm just worried, because what if it's true?", Jack asked. "Jack...I don't want to argue with you...but it's the future Jack, stop worrying about your past....just like when you turned into a Guardian, you always want to know your past and look what it got you, it made you angry and confused...don't worry about it ok Jack?", Hiccup said. Jack didn't answered. "I need to go now...it's almost sunset, you also need to loosen up Jack, stop worrying for us just like when you worried in the past", Hiccup said. "But you just told me to don't talk about the past", Jack said. "I guess you know what I mean Jack...what are you in the past...it's still you...Jack, you need to change", Hiccup said and walked away. Jack was still there and feeling the cool breeze of the air. "Sooner or later....the prophecy will soon end", Jack stood up and looked at the sky. 

Jack went back to the campsite. "Where have you been?", Rapunzel asked. "I just needed some air, and went to the soft grasses of this forest", Jack said. "Are ya thinking again?", Merida asked. "You know, I think you should be called the Thinker not Jack Frost", Hiccup lauhged. Rapunzel and Merida joined the laughter. "Hey, you know you can't remove that to me", Jack said and looked down. "We know Jack...but why the sudden worry? You weren't like that since we've met you....Merida is even mad at you because you were making fun of her", Rapunzel said.

"Yea...I was pretty mad at him, but now, I am not...which means that he is not funny to me right now", Merida said. Jack sighs. "So...what now?", Hiccup asked. "I don't know...maybe we still need to find those two memories and get to Darkiana as soon as possible", Jack said. "No wonder where the memories will appear", Hiccup said. "I would say that Jack might have the best past memory here", Rapunzel said. "Yours was pretty good too", Hiccup said. Rapunzel took her Golden Blade and Necklace. "At least I have the Legendary weapons to protect myself", Rapunzel said. "Yeap...me too", Merida took her Legendary Silver Bow. 

"Ugh...I am so jealous right now", Hiccup groans. "Don't worry...you still have your best friend", Jack smiled. "Yea, I guess he's my only weapon now", Hiccup looked at Toothless.  "I was wondering...what could be thi weapuns of these lads?", Merida laughs. "Well, Jack might have a new staff, and Hiccup might have a um...I would say a hammer", Rapunzel said. "There is no way I'm changing my Toothless to another dragon", Hiccup said. "We know that Hiccup", Rapunzel said. "Well, it's fine to me to change my weapon...I guess my old wooden staff needs to be replaced I guess", Jack said.

They were all in silence, and when Merida was about to put the fire out, the fire faded away itself. Merida looked at the sky, a strong wind was about to came by. She ran and went to the group. "Everyone! Get out of here!", Merida shouted. "Why? What's going on?", Jack asked and holds her shoulders. "I don't know, but maybe it's the Dark Mist...it is dark, and it may capture our essence and Darkiana might knuw whar wer are", Merida said.

"Ok, were going out ok? Guys! Get the things and let's find a hiding place a'right?", Jack asked. Hiccup and Rapunzel took the things and ran. Merida was right, it was a Dark Mist. It has red eyes on it that searches for them. "Go! Go!", Jack shouted. Hiccup stopped as he saw a hole. "Wait!", Hiccup shouted. The three were too fast, they pushed Hiccup down the hole. "Whoaaaa!!!!!", the Four screamed. They were going down the hole, like sliding on the playground. "Watch out!", Hiccup shouted. They fell down in the dirty ground and coughed. "Is everyone alright?", Jack gets them all up. "Yea...at least the Dark Mist will not find us here", Rapunzel said. They were looking at a cave. "Do you guys have a torch?", Jack asked. "No, but we can make one...Hiccup, get the wood, and the leather", Merida said. They made a torch and Toothless breath it's fire to it. 

"Wait, are we going in there?", Hiccup asked. "Yes...why?", Rapunzel asked. "It may be dangerous", Hiccup said. "Look, we'll stick together ok?", Jack asked. Hiccup nodded. The cave was dark, and there were black carvings beside it. "Wait a sec...is this us?", Jack asked. "Well, whoever drew it is not a good drawer but I think yea...it's us", Hiccup said. "Oh god...whut is this place?", Merida asked. "I don't know...we need to keep on checking ok?", Jack asked. They all continued on going further the cave. 

When they reached the end of the cave, it became lighter. Four different coloured lights were in there, as if it's their favorite colors. "Ok, this is kinda creeping me out Jack", Rapunzel said. "Wait look...there's a book", Jack said. "Jack...it's better if we can just read it...you've been worried enough", Hiccup said. "I need to read it too", Jack said. "Look, what if it is that propechy again huh? Look, it will only make you worse", Hiccup said. "I don't have a choice...I need to read it ok? I am also part of the Big Four ok?", Jack asked. "Ok, ok, if you say so", Hiccup groans. They all looked at the book, opened it, the book was entitled

"The Secret Book". "This is supposed to be secret Jack", Hiccup said. "Shush", Jack said. They flipped the first page, and it was them on the book. "Oh my gosh...it's us", Rapunzel said. "Memories were found...Weapons became stronger, and later on, the world may be in darkness or light", Jack sai.d "I knew it, the prophecy is talking about the future, about of what will happen, ugh....Jack will think it's true again, I knew it was a bad idea", Hiccup said. "But what if were really destined to read this book? There is no choice Hiccup...the only thing I wanted to believe now is us more than the prophecy, but if it is true or not there is nothing else we can do", Jack said. Hiccup angrily looked at him. He sighs.

"Alright...so what now?", Hiccup asked. "I think there is something else here....the past warriors were once Darkiana's prisoners, but seperated, until they all planned to get away, but still...no clues how their life ended", Jack said. "Maybe because of Darkiana", Hiccup said. "We don't know yet alright?", Jack said. He puts the book in Merida's bag. "Hold on, why are you bringing that?", Hiccup asked. "I have to read this, it has riddles but maybe I can answer it...the important thing is we need to know the past, and what will happen to us", Jack said. "Ok...me and Toothless will go find a way out here", Hiccup said. "Ok...we'll wait", Rapunzel said. They all sat on the ground, and Hiccup went away. Jack was drumming his fingers and whistles.

"Yu want to read the book don't ya?", Merida asked. "Kind of...but I need to wait till were out", Jack said. "Hm...yar patient", Merida smiled. "Jack...do you still think that the prophecy is true?", Rapunzel asked. "I don't know....but my only option right now is to believe in you guys, I believe that's more powerful than the prophecy I guess", Jack said. "Wow, what did ya ate? Have ya changed right now?", Merida asked. "What? It's true, and if you want to ask what I ate...it's the sweet breads you have in your bad", Jack laughs. "What the! I've been luking for it! I thought the animals ate it! Grrrgh! It was supposed to be a surprise", Merida growled. "Not anymore", Jack laughs. "Hahaha! Glad your back again Jack", Rapunzel said. "Yea...me too", Jack said.

"Hey! I found the way out! Let's go", Hiccup shouted. "Alright...better tell this to Hiccup", Rapunzel giggles. "Go on, he'll be surprised", Jack said. "I still can't believe that yu ate those sweet breads", Merida said. Jack puts his arms on her shoulders and rubs her hair. "Sorry....I was um...hungry", Jack smiled. "I thught you're not getting hungry", Merida said, "I'm half a mortal now right?", Jack asked.''Oh...I furgot", Merida said. They all went out of the cave. "Ok...so what are we gonna do now?", Hiccup asked. "I suggest we keep on going...we need to find a safe place away from forests", Rapunzel said. "She's right....let's go", Jack said. They all kept on going. The Big Four saw the Book of Secrets, will this book tells of what happened to the Warriors from the past?
