Hiccup kept on blaming himself about what happened to Astrid (past). “Hey, you ok buddy?” Jack asked. “Look, even if we try to help, maybe we just can’t stop all of what’s gonna happen,” Hiccup said. “Are you saying you’re giving up?” Jack asked. “No, no, it’s not like that, it’s that…I tried to help others, but I can’t even help my own past, how can I change this if I can’t even save the one he loves most? I just broke his heart and he became weak because of me,” Hiccup kept on blaming himself. Jack tried to comfort him. “Hiccup…you wanna know what matters now? Is that we fight, what happen, happened. I need you to listen to me, you are different from this past, this isn’t you, it’s just the past warriors, but you are much better than you think, you are….the real Legendary,” Jack said. Hiccup looked at him and turned his head to Toothless.
“Look at me, I mean, how could I become a Legend? I look so…” Hiccup said. “You look like just a Dragon Rider Hiccup,” Jack smiled at him.
“You guys! I found him,” Rapunzel shouted. “Alright, we need to keep moving,” Jack shouted. They all had encountered the Ultra Dragon’s Nest. It is behind a huge volcano. “The Ultra Dragon is living in the bottom of the volcano, that’s amazing, it can retain heat in its body,” Hiccup gets his book and wrote it. “Well, if the dragon’s in the bottom, then we have to get it out,” Jack whispered. “Guys look! It’s him,” Merida whispered. Hiccup (past) was about to make his move to the dragon. “Stop!” Jack whispered. “What are you guys doing here!?” he asked with an angry tone of his voice.
“We came here to help,” Rapunzel answered. “I don’t need your help! Look what you guys did to Astrid,” he shouted. “Look, it’s not their fault, it’s me ok? I didn’t protect her, I’m sorry if I can’t, but the important thing she said to me is that she needs us and you to fight that dragon for the sake of Berk…it may not be my land, but we protect the others no matter what,” Hiccup said. “That won’t change anything, I knew that this would happen, I was just not expecting that bad things will happen by the cause of you,” he said quietly. “No, that happened for a reason…everything happens for a reason. I’ve read the book and if you continue this, Berk will be on fire and you will be the only one left, the Ultra Dragon chose to kill Astrid because he knew you would come to him” Jack said. “He’s right, it doesn’t matter what happened, what matters now that we’re here to help, and we are going to change the past,” Rapunzel said.
Hiccup (past) sighs. “Fine, but promise me that…we’re gonna do this together, right?” he said with a smirk. “Alright, let’s do this!” Jack shouted.
They all saw the dragons sleeping in the nest of the Ultra Dragon. “It stinks here,” Rapunzel said. She stopped because she stepped on something. She gasps but Jack covered her mouth. “That’s…a bone,” Rapunzel whispered. “Vikings, they’ve been here, come on,” Hiccup(past) said. They are all getting closer to the dragon, they can see its huge wings and monstrous arms and legs. “Alright, here’s the plan…one of you try and distract the dragon to fly outside, while Merida is going to shoot a steel arrow on the dragons feet, Merida and Rapunzel, you guys need to tie that rope in those rocks outside, they might not last long but it’s our only chance,” Jack said. Hiccup thought about the plan. “Wait! Don’t shoot on the leg! Shoot on its tail,” Hiccup suggested.
“Why?” Merida asked. “Remember what happened to Toothless when I shot him few years ago by accident? That dragon has its weakness, and I saw its tails have wings too, and those are the one that gives him strength,” Hiccup answered. Jack looked at Hiccup, he gave him a smirk. “Alright, we trust you…let’s move,” Jack said. “Wait, if this doesn’t work out…promise me you’ll keep Berk safe,” Hiccup(past) said. “This will work out…trust me,” Hiccup said.
Jack flew and distracts the dragon. “Hey! Over here!” Jack shouted. The dragon was awakened, and he roared. Jack flew up in the sky. Merida and Rapunzel ran down. “Hurry up!” Jack shouted. Merida aims the arrow on the left tail wing of the dragon. The dragon struggles to up and it started falling down. “Alright! Good job, now’s our chance,” Jack shouted. The three boys went towards the dragon. It breaths fire but the both Toothless counters it. Jack used his staff and casts ice underneath the dragon.
