Y/N was dreading the today, it was Monday. The worse person in the world was back at school after being suspended. Along with his friends. Y/N wanted the ground to swallow her whole.

Y/N begged her mom that she was sick, but a fake cough couldn't fool Y/M/N.

"Damn it mom" Y/N pouted as she kissed her mom's cheek and climbed in the passenger seat. Her mom drove her to school on her way to work most mornings.

"I love you" Y/N told her mom as she climbed out of the car and kept to herself as she made her way to her locker.

"Hey Y/N" it was Ally, her best friend.

"Hi Al" Y/N replied with as much enthusiasm as she could muster on a Monday morning.

"Cheer up, we have Math first period" Ally grinned, she loved Math.

"Ughhh" Y/N groaned and hit her head against her locker.

"Kill me now" Y/N dragged her feet as she followed her best friend down the hallway to their first class.

Y/N was wildly surprised that the day had gone so well. It was now lunch and Y/N was sat alone, Ally had a student council meeting that she had to go to. Y/N nibbled on the corner of her sandwiches in peace as she read her book in the corner of the lunch room. She often enjoyed sitting alone.

It appears today isn't one of those days.

"Hi Y/N" it was as if Y/N had just been splashed with ice cold water.

"Brad" Y/N groaned as she looked up.

"Whatcha reading?" He asked snatching the book from her hands. Y/N went to shoot across the table for her book but two jocks stood either side of her keeping her sat down by pushing on her shoulders.

"Oh, pride and prejudice. How lame" Brad smirked roughly turning the pages, Y/N winced when she heard a ripping noise.

"Oops" Brad giggled and torn out the ripped page.

"Sorry" He laughed; tears began to pool in Y/N's eyes.

He tore out a few more pages; they sat in a pile in the middle of her table. Y/N blinked and they were suddenly on fire. She looked up at Bradley who had a lighter in his hands.

"Sorry, finger slipped" He went to stand from the table when someone pushed his shoulders back down.

Water was thrown of the pile of books with a hiss as the flames died. They were burnt beyond repair. A second cup of water was thrown of Bradleys head followed by an uppercut to his chin; a closed fist collided with her jaw as he fell from the bench to the floor.

"You mess with her again, and you have me to deal with. Got it?" Lauren asked in a loud whisper pointing her finger in his face as she bent over him, he glared in return but didn't answer.

Lauren stood with her arms crossed over her chest as she watched his two friends drag him away; all eyes were at their part of the lunch room.

"Get back to your lunch" Lauren command with a snap and turned to face Y/N, she was hugging her knees as she cried, staring at the pile of ash in the middle of the table.

"Y/N right?" Lauren asked softly coming it sit by the girl. Of course Lauren knew her name, she had been watching her from a far from the past weeks.

"Yeah" Y/N sniffed and roughly wiped her eyes only to have Lauren's soft hands delicately hold her wrists.

"Don't hurt yourself" Lauren held Y/N's face in her hands and gently brushed her thumbs under Y/N's eyes wiped away any moisture.

"I'm Lauren by the way; I normally tell people that before I start touching their face" Lauren laughing making Y/N giggle.
