*sometimes things are just not happening the way we want them to. but always remember everything has its own reason for happening. all you need to do its TRUST and wait for it to happen.

DEINZ'S POV
I have made up my mind
There is too much waiting that happened.
The stranger at the coffee shop gave me a clarity with all my confussion
So here I am infront of her apartment.
Ayoko nang patagalin pa ang paghihirap niya at paghihirap ko.
I just hope am not yet too late.
Holding a bunch of flower on my left hand and feeling my heart with my other hand.
Kaba and nararamdaman ko. Hindi ko maintindihan ang nararamdaman ko
Kakatok na sana ako.
Nang may narinig akong naguusap
“until when will you make yourself believe na mahal ka niya? O mahal mo siya?” I was taken aback for I know kung kanino nangagaling ang boses na yun
I felt my feet freeze on the doorstep para bang natatakot ako sa mga pwede ko bang marinig
“mahal niya ako alam ko, naguguluhan lang siya at nasasaktan dahil sa nagawa ko!” I can hear her voice cracking
May narinig ako na mga kalabog sa loob but I am stoping myself from intruding them.
“tanga ka ba? Kai you belong with me not with him!! Di ba nga sabi mo sasama ka sa akin mag papakalayo tayo?” I can hear desperation with his tone of voice
“tama na kevs it was a mistake choosing you! Nagkamali ako and I will do everything para itama lahat ng pagkakamali ko. So please let me go and you should fix whatever you and mitch still have, ayusin kung anuman ang natitira at isipin mo na lang na walang TAYO na nangyare please stop this”
Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako sa naririnig ko o masasaktan dahil naalala ko kung anuman ang meron sila noon
Nabahala ako sa mga sumunod kong narinig
“IF IT WON’T BE ME IT WON’T BE HIM AS WELL! AKIN KA LANG AKIN!AKIN!” at tuloy tuloy na kalabog na ang narinig ko sa loob ng apartment.
“KEVS! STOP! PLEASE WAG!”
I can hear kai’s scream and cry
Nakaramdam ako nang matinding takot
I tried to open the door but it was locked
Kai’s screaming for help suddenly stopped kasabay ng isang malakas na putok ng baril
Buong lakas kong binuksan ang pinto.
And it was a scene that I never thought I will see in my life.
I felt a hot liquid flowing to my cheeks

Sorry kung napapatagal po ang update ko I need to focus with work po kasi kaya pasensya na. well just want to tell you that BACK AT ONE is soon to end. This is a short story lang po kaya sa lahat po nang nagbabasa salamat po ;)
