Yo I'm back n starting off with some TomMatt AND Trying first person! Wooo! HIGH SCHOOL AU!

Matt smiled. The skin around his eyes  crinkled in the particular way and the dimples appeared. I smiled back at him, showing off my braces and probably yellow teeth.

"Matt."

"Yeah Tommy?"

"You know you're perfect right?"

"Awe! Tommy! That's the sweetest thing you've ever said to me!"

I laughed. He laughed as well, in that beautiful way of his. He looked at me, with those amazing blue eyes.

"You're pretty perfect yourself!"

I blushed. He giggled and wrapped an arm around me, pulling me closer.

"M-Matt....."

I needed to tell him. Every thing. What my pastor told me to say, what my foster father told me.... everything. It was spontaneous, but I couldn't keep it all in any longer.

"Yeeeees Tommy?"

He dragged the 'e' childishly. I swallowed.

"Y-you see.. I- I have this thing.. it-"

Matt looked at me contently. He had a little bit of concern in his eyes.

"It.. makes me- makes me attracted t-too...... too men!"

I clenched my fists and looked away. I felt Matt shift slightly. Probably to run away.

But to my surprise, he put a few fingers on my chin and turned me towards him. He had a frown on his face.

"Are you talking about being gay like it's a disease?"

"I- m-my pastor told me I-it was..."

"Tommy..."

He looked at me with such concern that I had never seen in my life time.

"It's ok! It's ok to be.. well.. gay! Be you!"

My breath hitched.

"Y-you think so?"

"Yeah! In fact, I'm bisexual! Edd's pansexual! So is Eduardo! And Jon's asexual! If your pastor or mom or dad calls it a disease, god dang it it's an epidemic! If you're gay, I'm ok with that! If your bi- I'm ok with that! If your trans- I'm freaking ok with that!"

Matt finished his short speech and stared me in the eye.

"Gay. Is. Okay."

I leaned up right then and there and kissed him.

And all seemed right with the world.
