Chapter 19 - Courting

Tamaki's POV (Oh lordy, Day Count down, 9 Days till Alphonse arrives)

"Umm, what are we doing Senpai?" Haruhi asked me, looking around the place to see it was decorated as if we were in a Winter Wonderland

"My beautiful daughter! Today, the theme is Winter Wonderland, we have hot chocolate, fuzzy slippers, coats, the air-conditioning is on-"

"Okay, okay, I get it. Hmm, where is Tomoki? I thought she was heading over here." Haruhi asked, looking around the Music Room

"I got a text from her saying that she got a ride home early for Courting Lessons with Grandmother, so she won't be here today." I stated, remembering the text my little sister sent me earlier before we started to set up

"Courting Lessons?" Haruhi asked, confused

"Oh, I totally forgot you come from a poor family. Courting is passed down from generation to generation from mothers to daughters, it is originally used for a young woman who is betrothed so it would help her later in life with her marriage." I clenched my jaw, not liking the idea at all of her getting married at such a young age

"How old is Tomoki?" Haruhi asked me

"14 in a half, she turns 15 this December." I stated, sighing putting my hands in the pockets of my blazer, staring up at the ceiling

"Wow, how old is this Alphonse guy?"

"Don't know, I never payed attention to his age, as long as he isn't a pedophile, I'm sort of okay with it, but then I also want to rip his throat out." I stated

"Woah, that's graphic boss." I jumped, turning around to see the shady twins grinning at me mischeviously

"What are you two doing?! Aren't you supposed to be working?!" I asked them frantically

"We finished~!"

"That's enough now you three, guests will shortly be arriving." Kyoya interrupted us, writing down his book. We quickly changed into our and got into our positions, me sitting on my throne, my cheek resting against my fist with my legs crossed. The doors open, instead of Red Roses, Light Blue Roses descended down onto the guests, all of us smiled widely

"Welcome~!!!" We all chorused to the guests.

Tomoki's POV ()

"One two three four, one two three four, one two three four-" Grandmother repeated several times while she slapped a ruler lightly against her left hand as I danced with my father. I was currently learning a different form of dancing that is only for husband and wife, and since Alphonse isn't here yet and Grandmother doesn't want me dancing with one of the servants, my father was the last resort. He spun me around, careful not to twist my wrist a certain way that would hurt me. We have been at this for around half an hour, to me at first it seemed pretty easy, until I started to dance with my father who was taller than me, him being 6'1 and me being 5'2. Yeah, that's a huge difference. Father was displaying no emotion as usual towards me, just watching me feet and correctly me if I did something wrong, Grandmother pretty much blackmailed him into doing this with me, so both of us were un-happy with dancing with one another. I feel like this is punishment for hanging around the club with Tamaki, since he is such a blabber mouth, getting me in trouble. Thanks a lot Tamaki!

"One two three four. And bow, very good Tomoki, you will be dancing elegantly with Mr. Tonnere in no time at all." I stopped myself from cringing when I heard his name, the countdown of the days clear in my mind, 9 days left until I meet him, this is gonna be so great! Note the sarcasm there

"You may go Yuzuru, Tomoki we are moving on to your manners." More punishment, just great!

???'s POV

I heard my bedroom door open, I didn't turn to look to see who it was, already knowing that it was my mother

"Hey baby, what's wrong? You didn't finish your supper." Mom asked me, walking towards me while I stared out the window in deep thought, sitting on the window seal

"Nothing is wrong, mother." I stated coldly

"Are you sure sweety? Is it about going to Japan-" I glared at her

"That and being betrothed to a half-ass scum." I stated, my voice laced with venom

"Now Alphonse, that is no way to talk about her when you haven't even met her yet!" She scolded me, her hands now resting on her hips, I stared boredly at her

"I can already tell, her blood is filth, she is a mistake made from a one night stand." I informed her having her eyes harden at mine. Only I didn't falter under her gaze

"Alphonse James Lyon Tonnere! Do not say such obscure things about Lady Suoh!" I smirked at her

"What are you going to do about it, mother?" I asked her, my eyes flashing in the light reflecting from the sun. I heard her gulp lightly

"I prove my point, now leave me be or else." She bowed to me before quickly scurrying away, closing the door behind her. I sigh in annoyance, thinking about the scum I was supposed to marry in a matter of months.

OOOOOOOOOhhhhhh! Alphonse finally made an appearance! I know I told you guys that he won't make an appearance in the story until later on but I couldn't help it! Plus I wanted people to see who Alphonse is and how he acts. Even his own mother is afraid of him! This is definitely a development in the story which I quite love honestly XD. So as time goes on, you will get to see more of him at the end of the chapters. Now, the courting lesson, I got this idea randomly when I wanted to update this on Easter, oh yeah....

Back on topic now, This shows more of Tomoki's relationship with Yuzuru and Shizue, In some kind of way, Tomoki is kinda like Yuzuru, except cancelling out the fact of his over dramatic state when he is around teenage school girls, which is where Tamaki got it from. They looked so stiff when I pictured that scene in my head, kinda business like which is exactly what I wanted! Again, if you guys have any questions about that scene playing out or about why Mrs. Tonnere is afraid of Alphonse, go ahead and ask me in the comments below and I will explain it the best I can. That's it for now, because I kinda ate too much sweets meaning that I'm kinda sick, like I want really throw up all over my computer screen right now... Okay, that was a little too graphic but ya know what I mean! Plus, I think I'm coming down with something because Vaermina was sick, again, and now since she has been downstairs this past weekend for Easter because of family coming over (The family that is kinda at a crossroads with the feud going on right now, yayyyy...)
