Chapter 54 - Romeo and Juliet

Tomoki's POV

I walked up to the mansion quietly, eyeing the windows in case I saw a light turn on unexpectedly. I stopped in front of the pipe, grabbing hold of it and began to climb up it, only slide down and fall on my butt

"Ah. Shit..." I glared at the pipe, finally realizing that ice was covering it from the low temperature. 'Great... I'm stuck out here.' I grumbled in my mind before getting my phone out of my pocket, about ready to call Tamaki only to stop. He probably has his phone off... He usually does plus he has an obnoxious ringtone that will only wake up the whole mansion, meaning getting me in serious trouble... I groaned, throwing my head back with a huff in annoyance. I began thinking of other possibilities on what to do, only they would all end up in failure. I pursed my lips, one idea coming into my mind... Don't we have a tree close to a guest room? I stalked around the mansion for a minute, my eyes falling on the said tree, it's sturdy branch basically pressed up against the window pane. This may be my only option... I swear if this window is locked! I rubbed my hands together, blowing hot air into them before jumping up and grabbing hold of the branch closest to the ground, hanging on it like a monkey. I pulled myself up with a grunt, using all of the upper body strength that I could. I sat on the branch before carefully going for the next one, repeating the process when I finally neared the branch closest to the window. I was about to open the window only to stop, frozen at the sight before me. Alphonse was laying on his back on the bed with a laptop placed on his lap, video of a girl being displayed on the screen. I felt my breath hitch, narrowing my eyes in thought, trying to decipher who this girl was. Snapping me out of my thoughts, I heard Alphonse laugh lightly, shaking his head before replying, his voice muffled an inaudible for me to hear. 'This girl... By her looks, she isn't from any of the lists I have searched on for candidates of being Lyon James! Who is she?' I bit my bottom lip, thinking of different scenarios of who she was. One thought struck my mind, ingraining in my memory. 'No way... Is she?' I felt myself slide off of the branch, my heart dropping yo my stomach. I quickly grabbed hold of the branch, tightening my grip as I breathed heavily

"Shit. That was too close."

"I would say." I jumped in shock, looking up to see Alphonse staring down at me with his window opened a jar, big enough for his big head to fit through. I clenched my jaw in distaste, great, the second to last person I wanted to see me sneaking back into the mansion!

"What are you doing, Chienne?" I was about to shoot a remark back at him only for the girl on the video call to beat me to it

"I told you not to call her that, Allie!" He cringed at the nickname which I couldn't help but smirk at. My suspicion was coming true, she might really be his 'secret lover'

"It slipped out!" He defended, a little flustered which was indeed a sight to see

"Don't throw insults at her, help her in!" Alphonse grumbled incoherently under his breath before offering a hand towards me, glaring daggers at me. I glared back, pulling myself up back onto the branch before grabbing his hand, him pulling me in through the window. I landed safely in his room, quickly letting go of his hand. I wiped my hand on his bed as if he was carrying a disease, which he might as well be. I looked over at the laptop screen while the girl stared at me in awe, as if she was admiring me

"Hmph. Surprised that you got yourself a girl when being a total ass-"

"Shut up!" The girl giggled at the small exchange, finding amusement within it

"What are you even doing out at-" He glanced over at the clock, "-One in the morning!"

"Shh. We will both get caught if you keep yelling!" I whispered to him harshly and he growled at me lowly

"She is right, Al." The girl agreed with me, messing with her dark hair

"And the reason why I was out doesn't concern you."

"She was probably on a date." Giving myself whiplash, I turned my head towards her in shock

"What the hell-"

"It was a guess. You are look too presentable to just going out to play in the snow. Also you have whip cream on your cheek." She pointed out and I wiped it away, slightly amazed at her analysis from just those two factors

"Damn. Great job French Ass, you got yourself a girl who will both tolerate your ass and is smart." He glared at me further, fuming at my words

"Stop calling her girl!"

"Well sorry Romeo, but I don't know her name." I stated, placing my left hand on my hip sassily

"I'm Juliette-"

"You don't just give away your name to her!"

"Why not? Whatever helps her out, Al."

"I like her." I confessed and he groaned, throwing his head back

"Great, just great."

"Juliette Monique at your service." She playfully bowed her head. Okay, sassy, intellectual, and kind, basically the opposite of Alphonse next to me

"Where are you at?"

"France."

"Hmm... Let me guess, commoner?" She nodded in confirmation. So that's why I couldn't find her on any of the databases, so far only Alphonse has 'acquainted' himself with girls who were from prosperous families in Europe, never a commoner. That spark another idea within me, maybe Lyon James is a commoner like Juliette? No wonder I'm not able to find anyone eligible to be Lyon James, I have been looking in the wrong place!

"Parents don't know about her?" I asked Alphonse and he nodded, sitting down on his bed and placing the laptop onto his lap, smiling quickly down at Juliette on the screen before looking up at me with his lips pressed in a firm line

"What about you?" He asked me, referring to the 'date' I was on earlier, informational guess coming from Juliette

"They know him, but not as someone I'm in a relationship with." He furrowed his brows in confusion, silently asking me to elaborate. I sighed, rolling my eyes at him

"Kaoru Hitachin. One of the Hosts at the club my brother is in." He stifled a laugh and I glared at him

"What's funny?"

"Isn't he the one who portrays brotherly love?"

"What?" I heard Juliette ask in confusion from the laptop

"Yeah, so?"

"Must be hard to maintain a relationship with twins-"

"Hell no!" I yelled and he smirked in triumph. I huffed, crossing my arms before starting towards the door, turning around briefly to stare him down

"Careful French As- Alphonse, Shizue has a close eye on you and I."

"You as well, Chie- Tomoki."

Woot woot! Heyo Sapphires! I finally wrote another chapter for you all. Tomoki now knows about Juliette and Alphonse's relationship as they do with her relationship with Kaoru. Both ends of the party are sneaking around with people they aren't supposed to be with. Meaning, they are sorta forming an alliance now since they both know one another's secret. Also, from now on, the two nicknames will be dwindling down, so French Ass and Chienne won't be in dialogue between these two as much as before, character development I should say. I'm planning on making a Snippet of Lyon James again because it's about time I do so. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed, thank you all for reading and I will talk to you all later! -Golden
