Later on that day, around lunch time, my phone vibrated beside me, catching me off guard before unlocking it to see it was a message, a message from a unknown number

Because I lost a bet with Hikaru and now I have to as you on a date...

To answer your question from earlier today, no I don't have anything going on today considering Grandmother is still dealing with the break in that occured yesterday.

Alex jumped up onto my bed, rubbing herself against my forearm as if she was encouraging me to say yes to Kaoru's request. I sighed, thinking carefully as to what Grandmother would do if she found out I went on a date with a boy while being engaged to another in France. She would definitely be furious and frustrated with me, probably would make me vow to never speak, see, or be within a certain distance with Kaoru. Hell, not to even breathe the same air as him! Then again... I don't have anything going on today, Alphonse will be here in two days, Grandmother and Father are busy to the point that they won't even think twice about me leaving the mansion. I thought long and hard before taking a deep breath, deciding my decision to Kaoru's request

I chuckled nervously before closing my laptop and getting up, placing it back in it's hiding spot. I glanced down at what I was already wearing. I shrugged, this is good enough, no way in hell am I going to fancy up for this dimwit. I grabbed my purse, shoving my phone inside before zipping it up and opened the door to see the maids and butlers still running around, only there were fewer numbers then earlier this morning. I walked down the grand staircase steps, careful not to bump into any of the servants who were carrying any fragile things. I was about to leave the house when someone from my family caught me at the corner of their eye
"Where do you think you're going, young lady?" I stopped walking and dared to turn around, knowing the voice that I have been hearing since I left France. I turned around to see Grandmother staring at me, her eyes holding a look of disapproval
