Tomoki's POV
It was after school Monday and I was currently walking home, since Tamaki has Club Activities today and that means I would have to stay with him until the limo driver came and picked us up. So I decided to walk home, it's not like I have never done that before. I sigh, stuffing my hands in my coat's pockets, looking up at the sky to see it looked like it was going to rain. 'Just great, the one day I decide to not wait for Tamaki and it's going to rain.' I thought to myself. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed Grandmother's Number. After a few rings, she finally picked up
"Hey Grandmother, I wanted to let you know that I'm walking home from school this time." I stated, looking around to see people getting their umbrellas out
"Why couldn't Jano drive you home?" Grandmother asked me, a slight irritated tone in her voice
"He is still set on the schedule for only taking idiot home, and so since I finished my studies early, I decided to just walk home." I stated, making sure that my acting was on point
"Very well dear, just make sure that you aren't caught in the rain when you walk home. I don't want to see you drenched walking through the door."
"Yes Grandmother, I will see you soon." I ended the call before she could reply and stuffed my phone back into my pocket when I felt water hit my cheek. I looked up to see it starting to sprinkle on me. I groan out in frustration
"Great, now I have to run, what a bother." I sneered and began jogging home, buttoning up my jacket in the process so it would semi protect my school uniform. I was jogging by a garbage bin when I heard a meow, causing me to halt. I turned around and looked back to see it was a stray cat, covered in dirt and grime within a box that looked like it was going to break any moment. I walked towards it and kneeled down, wrinkling my nose at the smell of rotten trash. I smiled lightly, poor thing. The cat meowed at me again when I started to pet it softly, totally forgetting that I was in a hurry to get back. The cat seemed to be a Japanese Bobtail Kitten. I'm guessing it was left out here to die since it seemed to be the runt of the litter. This is 100% Animal Cruelty right here. The runt purred and began to rub it's face into my hand lovingly. Now, I can't just leave it here, Grandmother isn't going to like this, but Tamaki has a Golden Retriever, so why can't I have a pet? Plus, a cat isn't that hard to take care of if you think about it. I swung my bag from over my shoulder and began to search through it, seeing if I did indeed leave a extra jacket inside of it. I sighed in relief to see a black light jacket stuffed in there. I grabbed it and zipped my bag back up and threw it back over my shoulder. I picked up the runt and placed it on the jacket before wrapping it up into a bundle, making sure it could see and breath. I stood up and began walking away from the garbage bin. That's when it really started to downpour having me groan in annoyance
"You're lucky little one, or you would be swimming in that box of yours." I told the kitten, which it replied with a meow and snuggled more into the jacket. I began to run home, not minding that my once white shoes were getting mud on them. I ran for another mile until I came up to the mansion, Grandmother is going to be so pissed. I ran up to the door and opened it and got into the mansion, the maids instantly running to me
"Lady Tomoki! Where have you been, everyone has been worried sick!" Everyone? Only Grandmother is home besides the maids and butlers along with the chefs
"Who else is here?" I asked them, taking off my shoes, pressing the kitten tightly into my chest
"Mr. Tamaki arrived here 10 minutes ago and has been worried about you-"
"TOMO!" I yelped when I was pulled into a hug by Tamaki, him not caring that I was drenched with rain water
"Where have you been, I have been worried sick!" Tamaki asked me, finally letting me go. I rolled my eyes at him
"I walked home and got caught in the rain, no big deal." I stated with no emotion
"I thought you were kidnapped and used as a maid for someone and-"
"That's enough Tamaki." Grandmother walked into the Main Hall, looking slightly amused by Tamaki's over-dramaticness
"My grand-daughter would kick their asses before that would happen." I smirked triumphantly at Tamaki who sulked
"Now, what are you holding?" Grandmother asked me, now noticed the bundle I was holding in my arms
"Oh, uh, this is kinda the reason I came here later than usual." Before I could unveil the kitten, it did itself by meowing loudly and popping it's head out of the jacket. Tamaki's eyes widened then began to gush of how cute it was
"That's what that smell was?" Grandmother plugged her nose in disgust
"Yes Grandmother, I found it in a box nearby a garbage bin, felt bad for it and decided to bring it home." I stated quickly
"It's so cute! What is it's gender?!" Tamaki asked me, picking up the kitten still in the bundle
"Don't know, it's still a kitten." I stated having Grandmother sigh in exasperation
"Fine, you can keep it. Just, clean it up so I won't have to smell it anymore." Grandmother walked out of the room in disgust having the maids lightly chuckle
"Here, I will help clean it up." Tamaki told me and I nodded, taking my jacket off and grabbing my phone out of it's pocket. We went upstairs to clean it off, me not noticing the big grin on Tamaki's face.

Yay! Tomoki got a cute little kitten in the chapter! I love kitties and cats and argh I just want to have one so badly! :3, That's why I always use this emoji :3. I used to have a cat named Miny she was a mix between a Siamese and I think some king of Tiger thing, I can't remember but she had marking similar to a Tigers. The reason why we got rid of her (We gave her to a friend don't worry) is because she scratched Vaermina because she got scared of our Siberian Husky. I was so sad! That cat freaken loved me and she used to sleep in my dresser draws when I would leave them open. GAH! Okay, enough of me rambling of my sad cat life. How did you guys like this chapter? Was it good or nawt.... I should stop XD. This idea for a chapter kind popped into my head, like, yesterday then I started working on it and finished it then started working on the next chapter to get ahead since tomorrow I have to wake REALLY early for Recruitment Day for Band Front at the Middle School, it's from 9:00 A.M - 1:00 P.M. Which is pretty much a regular school day for you guys but for me, it is not. Since I'm not used to it since I'm HomeSchooled. Oh yeah! Ya know what I might do, I might- Oh wait, nevermind, I can't because I'm not aloud to, oops. Nevermind sorry!
