???'s POV

I wiped down the tables half past three with my black hair pulled back in a simple braid, blowing a loose strand out of my face

"Fille!" I heard Dad call for me from behind the counter. I turned around to see him having trouble with the register, it not responding to his commands leaving him frustrated. (Translation: Daughter!). I walked over to him before gently pushing him out of the way, tapping the touch screen and waiting until it loaded fully before entering the code to open the actual register. With a 'Ching!', it busted open revealing the pounds inside. He sighed, rubbing his face tiredly

"Pourquoi avons-nous recommencé à passer à l'électronique?" He asked me with a tired smile. (Translation: Why did we switch to electronics again?)

"Because all of our old appliances were becoming more frequent with breaking and it's the new generation." I explained to him with ease in English, not even having to think for a moment with the response I gave him. He rubbed my shoulder lightly with a small smile

"Eh bien, je n'aime pas encore les nouveaux changements..." I gave him a pointed look that I use much to often to others, "Mais, je vais aller mieux à les utiliser. Jusque-là, vous êtes le Tech Guru de la famille" I snorted unattractively, shaking my head with a laugh (Translation: Well, I still don't like the new changes... But, I will get better at using them. Until then, you are the Tech Guru of the family.)

"I only know the basics, father." I told him with a grin before returning back to wiping down the tables in the bakery, humming a small tune to myself. This was what my life has been like since I turned 15 last year, go to school, come home to the bakery and work with my father until 5 PM. Being the daughter of a baker in France is quite common nowadays with the rise of desert cuisines, but, unlike many, I don't want to spend the rest of my life working with my father at the family bakery, I have another dream that is much more important in my opinion then baking baguettes. I stopped with my wiping, dropping the rag on the table before getting out my song journal and pencil, scribbling down a small paragraph of new lyrics I may use in the future. Shoving it back into my pocket, I returned to wiping down the tables until I finished the tedious task and moving onto washing the piling up pots and pans in the back where all of the bakery's bake goods were created. I slipped my wash gloves on before getting back to work, hearing Dad walk back and forth where the ovens were to check on whatever was currently baking. Only Dad and I manage this place while my mom works overseas in America as a personal trainer. Odd combination of parents, while Mom wants to keep me fit and healthy, Dad wants to keep me happy and eat lots of fattening foods. Those two different ideals is the reason why I'm an only child because otherwise they would have no choice but to pick favorites, plus they don't want to have another child in our current state. We are working class citizens and get by barely with just half the bakery's money we earn while it takes a few weeks for Mom to send money back to us through mail from what she has earned over in America. I shook my head, snapping myself out of my own dialogue of thoughts, why am I even explaining what I already know to myself when clearly I'm not an movie character? I scrubbed the pan down fiercely, making sure nothing was left to contract our customers to food poisoning when we use these again.

'Now that I'm alone to my thoughts... What time is it where Alphonse is at in Japan? It's around 3:30 PM for me here in France and there is about an hour eight hour difference... Perhaps 11 ish? Maybe close to midnight... Let's hope we can talk tonight, we haven't been able to with everything going on lately. I hope all is well for him.' I thought in my mind

"Fille!"

"Coming!"

(Time Skip, Two Hours Later)

I laid sprawled out on my bed, exhausted from the long day. I puffed out my cheeks impatiently, glaring at my non responding computer. Come on Skype, work with me today! I groaned, furrowing my brows together in frustration. I wish we had better Internet... Or a better laptop for that matter! I jumped when the call conected, Alphonse's tired face staring back at me

"Sorry! Did I wake you?" I apologized to him and he chuckled lightly, shaking his head while rubbing his eyes

"No, it's alright. I should have known you were going to call tonight, well er, today." I giggled as he stuck his tongue out at the side of his mouth, thinking over what he just stated

"How has it been going?" I asked him after a few minutes of comfortable silence, Alphonse struggling to keep awake

"Boring. But, Tomoki has given me info about this Lyon James character so I guess that's good?"

"What is she like? Ooo is she as beautiful as the pictures you showed me?!" I asked him excitedly and he rolled his eyes at me

"She is decent. More annoying and quite blunt with responses and logical when she is given the appropriate time." I puffed out my cheeks at him like a chipmunk, my bangs falling over my eyes annoyingly

"Is she nice?"

"No. Horrid."

"You think everyone is horrid, Al." I pointed out to him and he gave me a look

"Because everyone is." I gasped dramatically, putting my hand to my chest

"Am I horrid to you, Alphonse James Lyon Tonnerre?!" I asked him and he let out a laugh, a grin escaping his monotone looks

"Never. Never are you ever horrid to me, Juliette Beth Monique." He quickly stated, a flash of panic in his eyes. I giggled at the expression, shaking my head lightly

"I know. And you are never horrid to me either no matter how much of an ass you can be-" He groaned, covering his face with his hands

"What?" I asked him clueless, tilting my head to the side

"That reminded me of the many nicknames Tomoki has given me." I rubbed my hands together, a mischievous grin spreading across my face

"Please do tell."

"No."

"Aww... Why not Allie?"

"Mon amour, you know that I don't like being called that."

"Then I won't call you that if you tell me at least one of the nicknames." I declared

"Promise?"

"Across my shoe and hope to trip." He smiled at my weird saying before nodding

"She gave me the nickname French Ass after pointing out I was wearing heels and when I started calling her 'Chienne'."

"Yep. I like her already. And you know it's not nice to call someone that!"

"What?! Girls call each other that all the time!"

"That doesn't make it right!" I countered, my brown eyes staring him down. He rolled his eyes at me, shaking his head before sighing

"Fine. I won't call her that anymore... At least not to her face."

"Don't call her that in any way. Call her by her name not as a female dog."

"Fine. Anything for you, Mon Amour."

"Merci, tu me manques." (Translation: Thank you, I miss you.)

"Tu me manques aussi." (Translation: I miss you too.)

To Be continued

Heyo! Welcome Juliette Beth Monique officially to the story! She is Alphonse's Secret Lover and I love her character so far and yes the pic above is Juliette which I found just now XD. I tend to not decide on a picture for a chapter until I'm at the end of one or if I find a picture randomly on the internet that looks like one of my characters (Like the pic from Chapter 51 - Let's Skate Part 2 I found on Facebook!) Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed and I probably won't post another Lyon James Snippet today because I'm currently trying to get over being sick right now and don't have a good Yandere Chapter Idea right now but if I randomly get one during the rest of the evening I will write it up then post it for all you lovely people to see! Thank you all for reading and I will talk to you all later! -Golden
