Tomoki's POV
It's currently lunch when I walked out of the classroom to go to the school's store to buy myself some lunch, the first time having to ever to do this in years, the only other time I did this is when I was in France when I was in Elementary School-Middle School. After the first text I received from the blocked number many more came after it, one even displaying emojis with a gun and a girl, basically telling me to kill myself. I only chuckled in amusement at that, my suspicions of Lyon James's being a girl, presumably a teenager around my age. On my way to the school's store, I thought about whether or not this crazed fan girl was going to travel the whole way from France to Japan just to harass me. I smirked slyly at the thought, only to remember Alphonse was coming to Japan tomorrow my freedom will no longer prevail once I lay eyes on him.
"Tomoki!" I turned around, stopping to see Kaoru running towards me looking as if he had just survived a war. I raised an eyebrow at him in wonder before he reached me, hunched over with his hands on his knees taking deep breaths. I rolled my eyes
"Yes, Kaoru?" I asked him when he finished catching his breath and stood up straight
"I saw you left the classroom before Haruhi and Hikaru could harass us about what happened yesterday."
"Please tell me you didn't tell them!" I asked him and he shook his head at me
"I didn't, don't worry. I bolted out of there once Hikaru opened his mouth about the subject."
"Good, I would have kicked your ass if you did." He raised his hands up in defense before realizing I was walking to the school's store
"Didn't your servants make lunch for you today?" I shook my head before explaining to him
"Well, I kinda went against Grandmother's orders, stood up against her and since we had guests over she didn't want to cause much more of a scene than I already have so she kept quiet and well me and Tamaki left for school earlier than usual just to avoid her." I briefly explained, not going into full detail about what happened
"Seriously? That's awesome-!" I gave him a pointed look, shutting him up
"Not when she basically holds your entire future in her hands." I deadpanned and he sighed, running a hand through his hair
"Still, that's good that you finally stood up to her. Anyways, I also came to find you for a different reason." I raised my eyebrow at him once I saw him blush and looked away from me, avoiding eye contact
"About what?" I asked him and he sighed looking around before grabbing a hold of my hand, playing with my fingers
"The kiss..." He said barely above a whisper. Now it was my turn to blush
"Oh..." We went into an awkward silence after that, not really knowing what to say next, but we also couldn't stay here for long either holding hands. When we heard voices coming our way, we bolted away and hid in a corner where no one would look. Still holding hands and playing with each other's fingers, Kaoru finally broke the silence
"Soo... What does that make us?" He asked me and I shrugged, not really knowing what to tell this boy who I have only known for around 3 weeks
"Honestly, I suck at this never had to deal with anything like this." I told him honestly, looking up at him finally regaining eye contact with him. He nodded in agreement
"Same. I have never really talked to girls before I became part of the club, I have never even had a relationship before yet alone retaining one."
"What about your brother." I teasingly asked and he choked on his spit, coughing while also laughing. He shook his head at me
"Never. I mean I love him and all but not in that sort of way. That's only our act called 'Forbidden Brotherly Love' that girls go crazy for."
"Really now? Well right there is your problem, you're so focused on the club to even talk to a girl without your brother being there."
"Same goes for you, except your studies are in the way." I glared at him, knowing that it was true
"Well. Do you want to try and maintain a relationship?" He asked me and I almost became one of his fangirls and threw myself at him yelling 'YES!' but restrained myself from doing so, my mind going to my arranged marriage
"How about before we start anything, let's get to know one another better before anything else." He was about to argue but restrained himself, nodding before leaning forward and kissing between my brows
"Okay, we will get to know each other better before anything else.
