Tomoki's POV (Before School Starts)
I arrived at the academy with Tamaki at my side, about 10 minutes to spare before school started. The reason why I'm 10 minutes early to school is because I couldn't bare to face Grandmother, knowing full well if it wasn't for Father being there, she would scold me to no ends, punish me to her satisfaction for speaking against her. So I'm trying my best at avoiding her. Me and Tamaki walked into the academy to see only a few students walking around, talking to their group of friends while I saw one particular person sitting down on the floor against the wall, reading a novel. Haruhi Fujioka. I could see Tamaki's face brighten once he saw Haruhi and scurried over to her as fast as he could, sitting down next to her and started a conversation with her. I rolled my eyes at him, smirking to myself 'Now I see why he broke off the engagement with Eclair Tonnerre.'. Without a second glance or thought, I felt two arms wind up in mine, the twins on either side of me
"Morning Tomoki!" They greeted me in unison and I groaned, turning around to get a good view of them, only to realise that they have somehow grown taller over the weekend, most Hikaru rather than Kaoru considering I just saw him yesterday. My mind went back off to the kiss me and Kaoru shared having me lightly blush at the thought. I shook my head, clearing my thoughts away from the picture of us kissing
"Hitachiins, is it me or have both of you grown taller?"
"Hm, I guess we have." Hikaru stated, slightly looking at the top of my head to measure his height with mine. Kaoru shrugged before letting his eyes rest on Tamaki and Haruhi
"Oh yeah, that reminds me. I couldn't get anything out of Kaoru yesterday, but how was your guy's date?" I choked on my saliva, eyes going slightly wide. Kaoru noticed the question and quickly covered my mouth, knowing full well Hikaru couldn't find out about the kiss. Hikaru rose an eyebrow at us, clearly suspicious of what we were trying to hide
"I told you it was fine! It went well and all!" Kaoru stated quickly, trying his best to keep his composure even though he was blushing madly to the point his cheeks were as red as a cherry. Tomoki hid her cheeks with her sleeve, also slightly blushing but not as much as Kaoru was. Hikaru chuckled loudly, confirming his suspicions that something did happen
"Fine fine, whatever you say lovebirds..." Hikaru further teased us causing my cheeks to become redder
"Wait, you guys went on a date?" Haruhi asked us and we immediately got more defensive
"Friendly outing!" We both corrected her and she put her hands up in defense, smiling lightly at our red faces
"Tomo-Chan~!" I felt someone jump on my back, surprising me. I stumbled slightly forward, the twins helping me keep my balance
"Hi Mitsukuni." I greeted him, turning my head slightly to see Takashi walking towards us with his hands stuffed in his pockets. Takashi and I nodded at each other in greeting before my attention was directed back towards Haruhi
"Something clearly happened between you two if you are acting like that..." Haruhi trailed off confusing me
"What do you mean?" Kaoru asked crossing his arms
"Red faced, avoiding eye contact, defensive, and nerves." My eyes widened slightly, her description catching me off guard
"That doesn't prove anything." Kaoru stated and Haruhi chuckled
"And denial I forgot to add." I inwardly cursed myself to the moon, feeling Mitsukuni jump off my back and walked over to Takashi's side. Kaoru glared at the wall, knowing full well that she was correct. I lowered my gaze to the ground nervously, rubbing my arm and tapping my foot lightly as a silence came upon us until the the bell rang out throughout the academy. I sighed in relief and walked away to the classroom, the twins and Haruhi following suit. I glanced backwards to catch my brother's gaze, him smiling lightly before waving and walking with Kyoya (Who walked in moments before but was quiet as a mouse) to their classroom, Mitsukuni and Takashi heading to their building to attend their classes. I sat down at my desk and pulled out my phone when I felt it vibrate to see a text message from a blocked number
