Chapter 49 - Preparation

Tomoki's POV

After school was finally over along with club activities, me, Tamaki, and Alphonse sat at the back of the limo silently, lost in our own thoughts. I played with the hem of my skirt, looking out the window as light flurries of snow went on by, declaring the first signs of winter. This was the season I was born, the season when my father left my mother before I was born. My mother was left to take care of a toddler and newborn in France while my father worked in Japan, banned from ever seeing her again by Shizue. Why did he even have a second child with her? He knew after Tamaki was born if he would to do so again, it would jeopardize the Suoh Family Name. 18 Days... Till the day I was born. 15 years, hard to believe that factor. I remember when I was young back in France every year we would celebrate still being alive, but ever since me and Tamaki were taken away, a birthday is just another day. Not a celebration of life

"French Ass, start being a pervert and keep your eyes off of my breasts." I ordered with no emotion, staring at him at the corner of my eye, catching his eye as he looked away from them, his eyes showing that he clearly wasn't in reality

"H-Huh? What oh uh-" The rest of his sentence wasn't audible to my ears. He must be thinking of something important, perhaps I should pry him to tell

"What are you thinking about?" I asked him and he shrugged, his eyes on Tamaki who stared suspiciously back at him, showing his distaste

"Nothing of importance..." He clicked his tongue and Tamaki sighed, shaking his head

"You're showing signs of distress, now make things easier on all of us and tell."

"Why should I, Suoh?" I rolled my eyes, ignoring the rest of their little dispute just wanting to get back to the mansion and continue my research. Soon enough, we arrived back at the mansion. I hurried inside, briefly stopping to take off my jacket and hand it to an awaiting maid. I jogged up the steps and into my room, closing the door behind me, locking it. I sat my school bag down on my desk before venturing towards my side of the bed, setting my computer bag down on top of it. I went over to my dresser to get into more comfortable clothing until my phone went off unexpectedly. I groaned, going over my school bag and unzipping it to grab my phone. I looked at the caller ID, recognizing it as Kaoru Hitachiin. I answered the phone, wrapping my arm over my stomach as I leaned against my desk

"Hello?"

"Quiet Hikaru!- Oh uh hey Tomoki." I could hear snickering in the back ground and I sighed, rolling my eyes

"What is it?"

"Would you like to go out tonight?"

"Where?"

"Uh, surprise."

"Time?"

"10 ish?"

"You haven't thought this through haven't you?" I asked him

"Kinda hard to when your brother pressures you into doing so!" He stated as I heard more snickering in the background

"So this is for his own benefit and not yours?" I inquired raising an eyebrow suspiciously

"N-No! I-I have been meaning to ask you-" I heard ruffling before a new voice appeared

"-But has been too shy to do so." Hikaru stated, probably holding his brother back from reaching the phone from his angry grunts I could hear

"Should I be worried."

"Nah. This is just a friendly outing, nothing to worry over." I sighed, glancing down at my watch that displayed it was almost six

"Kinda worrying when I have to get pass staff members, family members, along with the French Ass." I stated and Hikaru chuckled at the nickname

"Good choice of nickname."

"Thank you carrot top, I work hard on them." He growled through the transceiver before shuffling was again heard

"Will you be able to?" Kaoru asked, gaining back control of his phone. I bit my bottom lip in thought, thinking of ways to even get pass others to go out after hours

"I should be able to, but make the time 10:30."

"Done. Pick up-"

"No, too obvious. I will walk, meeting place?"

"Hmm... How about Daisy's Bakery."

"Sure. see you later then."

"Yeah, see you."
