Chapter 11:to brimber!

Adam and Tom were walking along a dirt path which had a lot of sand"umm Adam I'm sorry to break it to you but we have been going to aredia city instead of brimber" Tom said as Adam groaned"well I guess my gym battle in the brimber city gym will have to wait" Adam said"wait a minute aredia city also has a Pokémon gym!" Tom said excitedly as Adam cheered"I can get my second badge at the aredia city gym instead of brimber!" Tom just sighed as Adam quickly ran across the sand but quickly became tired due to the intense heat of the desert"Adam i suggest we take a break and actually think of a strategy for your gym battle"the problem is that I don't have any idea what the aredia city gyms Pokémon are!" Adam replied as he looked at his four Pokémon currently on his team"I think you should use your current new team since absol has enough experience"Tom said as Adam agreed. Little did Adam know that the golem he had seen back in silvent city had been following them using rollout all the way to catch up with them. The golem then remembered how it had been in kanto when its trainer had tried to win the league but lost due to golem refusing to listen. The golem sighed and continued following Adam.

"This desert sure is long" Tom said staring at a trapinch that had started burrowing. The trapinch then looked at the two trainers and fled the scene. Just then a rather small vulpin ran forwards and tackled Tom causing him to fall"hey vulpin how was everything back at my parents" Tom said as vulpin gave a delighted yelp to its soon to be trainer since Tom was under the age limit to have his own Pokémon"is that vulpin yours?" Adam asked"no this vulpin is not really mine I just found him injured in the forest one day and decided to take him under my wing"by the way Adam how come absol was the one you chose to pick to take to roria?" Tom asked"well I did not really use absol well and it took a long time for our bond to form into what it is now" adam sighed as he looked at absol who had been communicating with Adam's other Pokémon.

Meanwhile on route 5 which was near brimber city a little girl around the age of 7 had just been exploring and admiring the beauty of the savannah when a group of tribes men grabbed her and took her back to their tribe"make this girl one part of the tournament of trainers" the tribes man ordered as he looked through a list of all the trainers that had signed up to be in his tournament just then the tribe leader got news that a new trainer had gotten his first badge recently"I must have that trainer in my tournament!" The tribe man said as the tribe members nodded and headed over to brimber city since that's where they thought Adam would be getting his second badge. Back with Adam and joe they had decided to take a break since they still had an hour before the got to aredia city"well Adam I must say that the brimber city gyms type is fire since my brother has recently beaten the gym in brimber city" Tom said as he checked the messages he had on his poke gear"well if it is I guess I will be using froakie" Adam said as he checked his team to see who else would be good if he went to the brimber city gym it he lost at the aredia gym. Meanwhile Rose had finally reached silvent city and headed to the Pokémon center.

When she reached their she decided to head back to aredia city since there was nothing much to do in silvent city except go to the club so she she bought a ticket for a taxi and headed to the sky train station with the sky train ticket her she had payed for. Finally in aredia city Tom and Adam first headed over to the Pokémon center to get Adam's pokemon healed up due to Adam needing to train froakie up a bit more"alright Adam lets head on over to the gym and let you challenge it!" Tom said eagerly as Adam nodded and asked around the desert city to see if anyone knew where the Pokémon gym was. When Adam reached the gym a guard stopped him"halt who goes there!" He said"I'm Adam and I have come to challenge the aredia gym!" Adam said"very well how many badges do you have?" The guard asked"umm I only have one so I want to get my second one here" Adam said"prince Ryan won't fight you unless you have four other badges" the guard shouted and pushed them out.

"Well that was rude!" Tom said as the both got up and decided to just stay a night at the Pokémon center and then leave to go to brimber city"I agree but since it's still light out what should we do?" Adam asked as Tom suggested that they visit the aredia ruins"that sounds like a good idea since I want to know more about roria" Adam said as they both left to go the the aredia ruins. Once they arrived a guard who guarded the ruins gave them some brochures that would explain the ruins of aredia. Adam then saw an old painting of a creature that had red v shape on its head and seemed to be yellow in color being locked away in some sort of chamber. Adam tried scanning the creature with his pokedex but the pokedex failed to recognize it although Adam seemed to remember seeing it on one of his journeys but he could not remember where.
