Chapter 18:battle collosieum

The group had gotten up a bit early so that they could get to the battle colosseum quickly since it was located back near route 5 and route 4. Adam checked Sally's pokenav every time to see how much longer it would take to get to the battle colosseum"apparently the pokenav says she have about 20 Minutes only to walk if we go this way" Sally said as the group decided to go the way that sally had suggested and continued walking a bit faster than they had walked before. Unfortunately for the group the shortcut involved passing through the old haunted graveyard that they had seen on they way to the battle tournament a few days ago. Rose had her two Pokémon which were kangaskan and snivy out along with her so that they could get some fresh air. Adam just sighed as the group looked around for any ghost Pokémon that could be lurking around"I think I need to train snivy and kangaskan a bit" Rose said as she looked at her two Pokémon who nodded in agreement.

"How about you and vulpix Tom?" Adam asked as he looked over at the pair" I don't think we need to train much" Tom said as his fire fox nodded in agreement. Just then the group arrived at a huge circular building as the group all stared in awe especially Adam as he did not expect to have seen the colosseum that big. A large sign in red letters on an electronic billboard spelled out Battle. Adam and Rose were the most awed out of the group and quickly ran towards the doors of the colosseum. However Sally and Tom both struggled to keep up since both Adam and Rose were very quick runners as the younger kids became out of breath. A huge area had a pokeball in a middle with a few stalls in one corner which seemed to be selling thing that you could purchase with points that you got from battles. Another corner had computers which people seemed to be using to take items and Pokémon in and out of. Adam sighed as he looked up and saw the vast array of trainers.

"I wonder when I can get good battles" Adam said eagerly as he decided to run over to the information desk for help on getting a battle. Just then a man in a black suit came up to Adam. As adam observed the suit he noticed the man had an official looking badge on his shirt which seemed to say battle on it. Adam decided that the man was someone that could help him"excuse me but do you know how I can get a battle here?" Adam asked the man as he passed"yes of course I will show you how to get a battle" the man said as he spied Adam's badge case and saw that he had only one badge. The man saw it was the arc badge.

"Well I guess since you have the arc badge then it is ok for you to compete in here" the man in the suite said as he got ready to introduce myself"my name is sir James the third and I am the official manager of this colosseum" he said grandly"hi my name is Adam and my dream is to win the Pokémon league and become a master of Pokémon" Adam said as he pumped his fist into the air"well my name is rose and my dream it to win the roria grand festival!" Rose said excitedly as Adam realized that rose had now selected the dream she wanted to follow as Adam just smiled"my name is Tom and I want to be a professor when I grow up" Tom said unenthusiastically.

"My name is Sally and I'm a big fan of yours!" Sally said as her eyes sparkled. Rose just rolled her eyes at her group mates over enthusiasm"well that's great to hear" James said as he led the group to a preparation where trainers got to prepare for their Pokémon battles. Adam got prepared quite quickly as he took of a jacket he was wearing revealing the black shirt underneath it. Adam was also wearing jeans with a belt strapped across it with pokeballs clipped onto the belt. James smiled at the group and let them get some lunch before Adam would be able to find his first matchup of the day and start battling against the opponent. Adam thought hard about who he was going to use while he munched on a chicken sandwich.

"You look great!" Tom said as he looked over at Adam's black shirt and jeans"well I guess I should have worn something a bit fancy but casual is more of my style" Adam said as he sent out frogadier so that they could both locate a suitable opponent together. The group of three headed after Adam as a familiar rock type rolled up to the battle colosseum as it watched Adam hunting around for a battle it let out a grunt before it started rolling of to wherever it was going again. James looked at the group and smiled while shaking his head. Meanwhile the mega evolution master also know as sorus had reached the colosseum.
