Chapter 12:meeting with the professor again

"Professor I must tell you about something!" Adam said excitedly until he realized the professor was talking to a guy in a royal looking costume"how many times have i told you Ryan that the challengers should have their own time that they want to challenge your gym?" Cypress argued as Ryan objected"cypress if I don't tell them to fight the gyms in silvent, brimber,rosecove and anthian first then they will be crushed by my Pokémon in this gym Ryan replied"very well but expect someone over here soon" cypress said as Ryan just shrugged his shoulders and headed back into his gym area where a challenger was. Meanwhile in the brimber gym John had just won in the brimber city gym as he confidently got the brimstone badge and placed it carefully in the slot of his badge case. Then John proceeded to decide to go to the next gym which was in rosecove and earn his third gym badge over there before he took a break with his parents who were in anthian.

The professor then proceeded to leave the castle as Adam tried to talk to him before he left"the professor sure is a busy man" Tom said as Adam wondered where the professor would be going to"hey Adam I never saw your starter Pokémon do you mind if I do?" Rose said as Adam nodded and grabbed froakie pokeball before sending him out to show rose the water type. The frog then proceeded to dance around absol since the more experienced Pokémon had already been out. Adam then asked if he could see roses starter which she gladly sent out. A green snake appeared from its pokeball and proceeded to extend its vine whips to shake both froakie and Adam's hand"I got snivy as my starter but I don't feel like challenging all the Pokémon gyms" rose said as she thought of a suitable goal she could have to do on her long journey ahead.

Just then Adam got news that the professor would be leaving aredia city Tommorow and that he could still visit him today"well guys lets go" and meet the professor before he leaves!" Adam said excitedly as he ran towards the ruins where the professor was. However when he reached their he saw the professor seemed to be deep in conversation with someone on the phone bit he did manage to get a few words such as eclipse,ledgendarys and new world. After the call was ended the professor turned around and saw Adam"oh hey adam how is everything going?" Cypress said as Adam smiled and introduced him to his travelling partners Rose and Tom as vulpin barked playful at the professor" it seems you already have your first gym badge" professor cypress said as he notice the badge which had two spikes coming out of it

"Yep I sure did and I caught some new Pokémon along the way!" Adam said as absol appeared while Adam sent out two of his pokeballs which opened to show the nidorino and Beautifly inside"wow it seems like you have been busy catching Pokémon and getting that arc badge" the professor said as Adam nodded and watched his four Pokémon play around with each other"say Adam why don't you go on over to the brimber city gym?" Professor cypress said"well we were going to but since we got into aredia city we decided to challenge the gym but did not manage to" Adam sighed as he recalled all of his Pokémon into their pokeballs while saying goodbye to the professor who would be leaving aredia city soon like the group.

He group was packing up their things when a man in a princes outfit arrived"hello kids have you seen a lost quagsire around here?" The prince asked as he introduced himself as prince Ryan"no we have not seen a quagsire anywhere since we have been here" Adam said as prince Ryan groaned"you know what I think I saw one down by the Pokémon center earlier on" rose said as prince Ryan's eyes instantly filled up with the hope that they would be able to get his quagmire for him"well thank you kids I guess you could help me look for my quagsire" prince Ryan said as the kids cheered and instantly went looking for it.

"Ok Beautifly a quagsire is missing so I need you to take to the skies!" Adam ordered as the butterfly appeared from its pokeball. Beautifly then proceeded to fly off in search of the missing quagmire while Adam went after if following it to see if the quagsire would be where beautifly would be. Unfortunately all Beautifly found was a golduck which was the same color of the quagsire but not the quagsire. Meanwhile back at the gym prince Ryan had arrived in the battle ground where he got news that the champion would be arriving to aredia city"I guess the champion would like to discuss about sorus again" prince Ryan sighed as he heard that a challenger was coming so he quickly pulled a rope and went down an elevator shaft where he would be waiting for challengers who managed to locate him in a weird game of hide and seek.

The guards then proceeded to let a few more challengers in before slamming both the doors shut and preparing to show the gym battle on television. Meanwhile Tom and his vulpin were running across the sand streets of aredia while trying to find the missing quagsire. Tom grabbed a flask of tea that he had grabbed from the Pokémon center and drank a bit of it before giving a bit of his tea to vulpin. Vulox instantly became aware of its surrounding when it drank tea as Tom ran after it. As Tom followed vulpin he bumped into a shady man in a red and black suit"hey watch where you are going!" The man snarled as Tom quickly apologized before the man left but not before Tom spotted an E shaped symbol on his costume. Tom sighed and decided to think about it over some cakes and read while he felt guilty for taking a break while the other two were helping find the quagsire. Tom just shrugged his shoulders as vulpin had already dashed oftowards the Pokémon center.

Tom froze as he saw two people standing outside the Pokémon center in the Same costumes like the man from earlier and they seemed to be discussing things "it seems that our efforts to capture one legendary Pokémon have failed but the boss has set us a new mission to get another one" one of the costumed men said as the other man nodded thoughtfully at the mans idea. Vulpix tried to growl but Tom quickly covered its mouth before the two,costumed men could heard the low sound"well I guess we better head on off to the airship now" one of the costumed men said as the other one nodded before they headed over towards an area where a large airship was. Tom watched as the airship took flight and left the desert city.

Tom looked over at vulpix and they both nodded at each other before heading of to meet with Adam and rose to discuss things. The boy noticed Adam and rose both standing in front of a stand selling pokeflutes which was where they had agreed to meet"hi guys are you sure you checked all the areas quagsire could be in?" Tom quizzed as Adam and rose looked at each other before heading of down an alley which they had not checked before which had a ton of shady stalls that sold fake pokeballs.

Adam quickly called the police on the stand that had been selling fake pokeballs before leaving to find the quagsire again with his group. Just then Rose spotted a blue blob that seemed to have spikes coming out of a purple line. Adam quickly scanned the Pokémon to check what it was and it indicated that the Pokémon was a quagsire"it might be prince Ryan's Pokémon!" Rose said eagerly. The group headed over to the Pokémon as it suddenly noticed that the grid had been staring at it as the quagsire became even more cautious"prince Ryan is looking for you quagsire so come along" Adam said to the ground type. The quagsire responded by using a mud slap attack on Adam causing him to be blinded for a moment by the dirty mud as he flailed around while trying to get it of his eyes since he would not be able to see with it on.

Just then froakie hopped out of its pokeball and proceeded to use a very powerful pound attack that caused it to hurt its arm in the process but daze the quagsire for a bit. Adam still struggled with the mud over his eyes as he attempted to get it off again"Froakie use water pulse on me!" Adam ordered as the crystal ball of water formed and then slammed down on Adam's face washing all the mud away as it slithered down onto the sandy floor and caused some of the sand to get wet. Rose then proceeded to grab the quagsire by the head and pull it towards the aredia city gym where prince Ryan would be waiting outside of it"i wonder what we will tell prince Ryan when he sees that his quagsire is knocked out" Tom said as Adam and rose both just shrugged their shoulder and continued pulling the quagsire after them before arriving at the gym"here is your quagsire and we are also sorry that we had to knock it out in the process" Adam said as prince Ryan reassured him that all was ok and that quagsire usually disobeyed orders that had been given to it as the group got ready to leave aredia.

"Wait before you go Adam I have something to give you for your help!" Prince Ryan said as he gave Adam a pass that would allow him to compete in the tournament being held on route 5"wow thanks prince Ryan" Adam said as prince Ryan told him not to mention it"well I guess we will be stopping by that tournament before we get your badge Adam" Rose said brightly as Adam nodded before the group headed backward to route 11 where they would be going back to route 5 from. Meanwhile the champion had just arrived in aredia only to receive news that the errand he had to run was not near.

Anyways chapter 12 is done and I also plan to do a chapter everyday anyway what do you think the champions errands is and here is the team update.
