Chapter 16:final round

Adam found himself walking down a large corridor the next morning along with the rest of his group members. Sally had decided to also come along as she looked up at the tournament master quietly as Adam and the group turned a corner and found themselves face to face with the man himself"young trainer usually no other trainers make it this far to the final round" the tournament master said as Adam looked over at Tom,Sally and Rose and smiled since he had been complimented"the final match will begin after lunch and the details will be provided shortly" the tournament master said as he looked at his watch waiting for someone to arrive"well I better get on with some more things you don't know about this tournament" the tournament master said as he pointed at a seat indicating that Adam and his group should take a seat"anyway I have learnt from one of my sources that one of the members of my tribe has been injure but that was not your fault" the tournament master said"it was the Pokémon!" The master suddenly and angrily said causing everyone to flinch at the harsh sounds that the tournament master had just made as he prepared to explain the reason for the tournament.

"Anyway this tournament was created to see which Pokémon would be the most recent addition to my team" the master said evilly as he pointed at a picture that showed that this was the 6th year of the Pokémon tournament running in a row. Adam just gulped and nodded before deciding to leave and prepare for the final round however the tournament would now be not in route 5 but the final round would be in mount igneus which was just across route 6"well maybe we will get to challenge the gym before we continue the final round of the tournament?" Tom suggested as Adam shook his head"I don't think we should since the tournament master expects us to be at mount igneus by Friday 6.00 pm and its already 4.00 on Thursday meaning we don't have much time" Adam just sighed and packed his bag to prepare for the journey to brimber city which would take approximately 5 hours to reach and the gym would also be closed by the time they arrived. Adam and the group smiled at each other weakly before checking out of their accommodation on route 5 and then heading to brimber.

Just then Adam got news of the prize for winning the tournament at 7.00 pm just after 3 hours of leaving route 5"wait a minute this is terrible!" Adam said as he looked at what the prize was"what is the prize?" Rose asked as Adam suddenly became angry"its to spend a year in the salt mines with all of my Pokémon taken!" Adam exclaimed as he clenched his fist. Meanwhile in the volcano the tournament master had the Asian kid at his knees with his hands behind his back. The tournament master just smiled as he grabbed the Asian before dragging him towards the edge of the cliff in the volcano. The tournament master looked and saw the lava rising. He then smiled,grabbed the boy and threw him into the still rising lava. The boys scream was deafening as he burnt to death in the piping hot lava the master smiled satisfied with his work.

"Sir the champion has refused to come after seeing one of your tribe members burn to death" one of the other tribes men said as the leader spat out the coffee he had been drinking"WHAT!" He screamed as he kicked the rock chair that he had been sitting on"sir I'm sure once the champion sees that you have won the tournament again that he will be more than happy to place you into the elite 4" the tribes man suggested as the master nodded in agreement"well your idea was perfect so I am sorry for this" the master said as the member got a puzzled look on his face. Just then the master reared back and slammed his fist right into the poor man causing him to also fall into the boiling hot lava which had burned the Asian boy.

Meanwhile the group had already arrived in brimber one hour earlier than expected meaning that it was now 9.00 pm in roria"as expected the gym is closed" Adam said as he looked up at the gym that was shaped like a volcano. He then saw a notice which said that the gym leader would not be at the gym for three days and two nights which meant that the gym leader would be leaving tommorow. Adam groaned"I really wanted to get that badge after the tournament but I guess I can't yet" Adam said annoyed as he headed towards the Pokémon center where they checked in for 4 days and 3 nights. Adam sighed as he took a shower and then hopped into bed. It was a long time before sleep finally came to Adam and at that time it was already 12.00 am
