Chapter 26: a seventh pokemon

Adam was watching the sea as his Pokémon watched it silently with him as. They were trying to relax so that they could be confident when the gym was open again since Quentin had gone on a three day trip and would be back when Adam only had two more days before there stay at the Pokémon center finally expired as Adam sighed and decided that he would really need to beat Quentin the next time he met the water gym leader or otherwise Adam would either have to leave straight away for anthian and then come back later or he would have to sleep outside and keep trying until the gym leader was finally defeated as Adam decided to finally stand up and turned to go and eat some food at the Resturant in the Pokémon center which had just opened up. Adam got some eggs and sausages and sat down by himself since the rest of the group were all still sleeping in their bedrooms since they did not feel like getting up to go and get some breakfast, Adam then fed his Pokémon

Adam then decided to take a walk down to the beach where to his surprise he saw the group already standing there and they seemed to be a bit worried"the shop owner just told us that some wild Rowlets and also some darted had just flown out of the forest on route 9 and had been stealing food and other things and that if the Pokémon tried to battle then the rowlets would beat the person who tried to stop them's Pokémon up"well I'm sure that my Pokémon would be able to handle a few grass types right guys?" Adam said as pansear nodded confidently since he was a fire type but frogaider on the other type was afraid to battle the grass types along with golem. Nidorino,Beautifly and absol also did not seem to mind fighting the grass types.

"Well since they are from route 9 should they not be happy staying there? I mean, usually a rowlet is content with the location that the leader of the flock has chosen unless something would have had to disturbed that area!" Sally realized as they wondered who or what could have caused the grass types to suddenly decide to shift their location to the city as Adam saw some of them pecking at something on the roof of the Pokémon center as he sighed and looked towards the gate to route 9"well I'm guessing that we are going to have to investigate that area then but not before I stock up on some supplies that I left in my room" Adam said and walked towards the Pokémon center and took the lift to get his bag which had an almost empty bottle of potion as Adam needed to buy a bit more of the purple liquid at the Pokémon mart and get a refill which cost a bit.

Just then a small tiger slowly walked out of the gate that led to route 10 and it seemed to be barley standing as it tried to drag itself towards the Pokémon center but slumped down on the stairs leading to the beach and instead rolled down onto the soft sand as the group ran to get to the small tiger before Adam decided to scan the Pokémon with his pokedex ad learnt that it was a fire type like pansear was"golem I want you to help litten up on to its feet" Adam said as the rock type tried to make it stand on its feet but the litten was unconscious at the moment"we need to get her to the Pokémon center" Adam said as he saw that the littens gender on the pokedex was femal just like Beautiflys"golem I want you to try and pick up litten so we can take her to the Pokémon center" Adam said as the big rock and ground type creature lifted the fragile kitten with ease and started moving towards the Pokémon center quite slowly because of golem was not that agile.

The group finally arrived at the Pokémon center and rushed to the desk where nurse joy was standing"can I help y..OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO IT?" Nurse joy screamed as she pointed to several scar marks on the littens body"WE NEED TO GET HER HEALED QUICKLY" She said still screaming as she grabbed the kitten and hurried towards the back.

Just then Adam heard strange sound coming from the back and ran towards to check on what was happening  when he saw at least 100 rowlets pecking at various people and stealing food as well as Adam stared in shock and horror at what was happening to the now chaotic city as the rowlets continued pecking people and also stealing some of the pokeballs and dropping them into the water and pecking harder if the trainers tried to go and get their Pokémon. Cops were trying to taser the rowlets but the rowlets just crunched them up as it they were just useless toys to them as they continued the aggressiveness towards the people while Adam prepared to send out his Pokémon but he was quickly knocked over by one of the grass types.
