Chapter 21:fifth pokemon

Adam woke up one sunny day and checked his badge case to make sure that it was not a dream that he had been having. He smiled when he saw the brimstone badge safely in its section"well I guess we are leaving brimber city today and we have to leave straight after breakfast since that's when the route 7 tour begins" Adam said as he checked a map and saw that he had to pass through route 7,lagoona lake and route 8" well I think we should get going" Adam said as he took his pokeball and other equipment with him. After breakfast Adam immediately ran down the stairs to get outside and meet up with the rest of the group"I don't think I want to go on it" Tom said as he tried to run but rose quickly pulled him back towards them"unless you want to be left in brimber I suggest you come" Rose said as the boy just grumbled at having to go.

"Come on I'm sure it will be fun right" Adam said but Tom just grumbled in obvious disagreement"I thought you would object since this would be similar to everything else you did" Tom said but Adam just shook his head as Tom just put his head down in defeat"but when I did travel all I really did was head to the gyms in only about a few days, by my first week in kanto I had already beaten koga" Adam said"well fine then but didn't you at least stop for a day two to check things out?" Tom asked as Adam shook his head in disagreement"well how about Sally I don't think she actually really wants to go either" Tom said

The group went on the tour with Tom grumbling all the way. The tour guide was good at explaining and talked about some specific areas such as the workshop where all the lumberjacks worked with their bidoof and rattas and also a natural park which was sort of restricted to the public so the group did not get to see what was inside but did manage to get a glimpse of something green in the trees. What was actually happening in the park was that team eclipse had got in to the perimeter and captured pansage"Where are the other two!" A member shouted at the park ranger who had been pushed up a tree"And why would I tell you that!" The ranger said and spat in the members face"FOOL!" The grunt said and threw the unfortunate man across a river and he hit a tree where he lay  there with a bit of blood starting to flow from the rangers head.

"Well I guess since he decided not to help us we will have to look for them ourselves" the grunt grumbled as two other members walked with him and carried the cage that pansage was in as it cried out for the other two elemental monkeys to help it. Meanwhile the group had come to the big stone slope where they had to cross"well I guess this is where the tour ends" the tour guide said as he started walking back to brimber city to give out more tours"well I guess we can head forward into lagoona lake or we could check around for some wild Pokémon" Adam said as the group decided to check for some Pokémon that they could find around the area. Strangely none of the Pokémon were found around the area except for a lonely bidoof.

Just then two creature colored red and blue shot out some fire and water causing the group to fall back while the fire and water chased after them. Suddenly Sally fell forward and crashed into a weak barrier causing her to tumble down a slope. Adam and rose quickly followed while Tom hesitated before looking at the fire and then he screamed and came down after the others. Strangely the fire and water stopped coming towards them as Adam came towards a sign and read it"Route 7 nature park, how come I don't see any Pokémon here either?" Adam said as he looked around for any other signs of Pokémon roaming around the area. The others in the group also agreed that this was all very strange and sent out their Pokémon"well since there is nothing here I suggest we all leave" Tom said shrugging and smiling but rose caught him by the collar and made him come back causing Tom to angrily scowl"There's nothing  here how come we have to stay here!" Tom protested.

"Well I guess we have to look for them" Rose said as Tom grumbled and shook his head in disagreement causing him to get an angry glare from Rose causing him to glare back at her"well obviously we have better things to do like getting to Adam's rosecove gym battle on time so I suggest we leave" Tom said as he tried to convince Adam to leave but Adam just shrugged his shoulders"we could always go to the gym someday later" Adam said as Tom grumbled again"if you don't want to come with us then fine you can go to lagoona lake and book us some rooms" Rose said as she handed the boy a wad of cash as Tom started leaving.
