Bleu and I walked through the gardens at the back of the castle. It was starting to get warmer outside, signalling that spring was coming.

"Have you spoken to the king yet?" Blew asked as we weaved through the flowers.

"No, he's still seemed pretty angry this morning," I said.

"He always seems to be angry these days," he said, sighing.

"Do you think it's because of me?" I asked, biting my lip.

"No...yes...well, I think it's what he's feeling towards you," Bleu said.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"Well, I think he's angry because you're pushing him away...and the fact that he knows he can't have you," he explained.

"If he wants me that bad, why doesn't he just tell me?" I asked, confused.

"Because he's scared, he's never done something like this before," Bleu said.

"And you think I have!?" I asked. "I have never done anything like this before either, and he's not making this any easier."

"That is why you need to talk to him," he said.

"How am I supposed to talk to him if all he wants to do is scream at me?" I asked.

"Just try," Bleu said, sighing.

"I will," I said.

"I have a knights meeting, I must go." He groaned, "speak with the king."

"I will," I said again, watching him walk away. I sighed, turning to walk back up to the castle.

"Oh, Kara!" I heard someone yell once I entered.

"Yes?" I said, turning around.

"The king was looking for you," he said.

"He was?" I asked, surprised.

"Yes, he was saying something about you leaving...I don't really remember what he said, but he sounded worried, so go find him." Kaolin said.

"Alright, thank you," I said, turning around to walk up to the kings chambers.

When I reached the top of the stairs, I walked down to the end of the hall, passing Matthew's room, which was alway quiet now, and to the kings chambers. I quietly pushed the door open, peeking my head inside. It was quiet, and it looked like no one was in there.

"Ed?" I asked, walking in, I heard a crunch under my feet as I stepped inside. I looked down, I had stepped on glass, sighing, I stepped over it, walking further into the room.

"Ed?" I called again, I heard something move from the other side of the room. I jumped, turning to see where it was coming from.

"Kara?" The king asked, walking through the door. "Thank god, I thought you had left." He said, walking over to pull me into a hug. I furrowed my eyebrows, wrapping my arms around him. Was someone in his room, and if there was why were they there and what were they doing?

"I'm so sorry about last night, I just got angry," he said, I nodded, still looking at the area where I heard the noise. "What are you looking at?"
