"Sire, we've gone over this already," Kaolin complained."We have to go over it again, this is not a subject to take lightly, Kaolin." The king said.
"You people bore me," I complained.
"Then go somewhere else," Ed said.
"I am working for you, I can't exactly leave," I scoffed.
"Well, I give you permission to go away," Ed said, I rolled my eyes, getting up.
"Fine, I'm leaving," I sighed.
"I'll find you later," he said, focused on the paper in front of him.
"Yes, Sire," I mumbled, leaving the room. The king was very set on making the castle look perfect this week, seeing as the King and Queen of Spain were journeying over next week. Of course there will be this gigantic, glamorous ball...that I am dreading. Because if there is a ball, that mean there will be dresses, girls and a certain king that I am trying my best to stay away from, but I'm failing miserably...considering I'm his servant.
As I walked down the hall, deep in thought, I felt someone tap my shoulder. I jumped, turning around to face the person.
"Whoa, someone's jumpy," Bleu said, smiling.
"You scared me," I laughed.
"Sorry," he said.
"Its fine, how are you?" I asked.
"I'm fine, what about you? How is your plan to stay away from the king working out?" He asked, chuckling a little.
"Not as well as I planned," I admitted.
"That's because you care for him and it is getting harder to hide it," he said.
"That's not true," I lied.
"Alright, what ever you say...what are you doing, aren't you supposed to be helping the king plan the ball?" He asked.
"Kaolin's got that covered," I sighed.
"I see," he said. "What are your plans for the day then?"
"I was going to see Harry again, I wanted to ask Ed if I could bring him to the ball, but it must have slipped my mind." I said.
"Do you really think its a good idea to go back out to town?" Bleu asked.
"The king may rule this kingdom, but he doesn't rule me, I go where I want," I told him.
"Well, you need someone to go with you...just in case, Oliver is still out there, it's not safe." He said.
"Are you offering?" I asked.
"I am," he said.
"Alright, lets go then," I said.
"So, you are going to invite him to a ball...without the king's permission?" He asked.
"Yes, he can be my escort," I chuckled.
"Why is that funny?" Bleu asked, confused.
"Harry...is a little different when it comes to his interest in...other people." I said.
"What does that mean?" Bleu asked.
"Harry favours men to women," I said.
"Oh...oh!" Bleu said in realisation. "Then why would you take him to the ball with you?"
"Because, the king makes us all go and I can't show up alone," I said.
"Why's that?" He asked.
