She stared at the postcard for ages, reading it over and over again, her eyes resting on the word always.
It looked funny.
She undressed, and sat on the edge of her bed in her underwear, writing the word on her thigh, then wrote it again, leaving out the S.
It's weird, she decided. Always looks like the plural, like there's more than one. But, there's no such thing as alway. That just looks stupid.
