Artemis P.O.V

Nightwing and Robin both gave me a weird look. Nightwing looked more amused than Robin though.

"What it's true," I grumbled.

Robin shook his head and looked back at Nightwing, disbelief still written on his face.

"Close your mouth, kid, you'll catch a fly," Nightwing said grabbing Robin's chin and poped it closed. "I'll admit," he shrugged. "I don't take the best care of this place."

"No kidding," I said looking at the floor covered with footprints made from dust, dirt, and what I'm hoping isn't sewage. I wrinkled my nose, "When was the last time you at least mopped?"

"Let's see," he sighed grabbing his chin thoughtfully. "I moved here the moment I graduated...found this place two days later, so..." he looked at me, "Never."

"Ew," I breathed.

He shrugged, "As far as I know there isn't mold so..."

"Still..."

He shrugged.

"Hey Future Me," Robin said suddenly.

Nightwing looked at him.

"Do you have any idea on how we can get back to 2011?"

"Unfortunately, I don't."

Robin groaned.

"But with some help we could figure out how Time Jerk used his equipment, fix it so it can go back in time, and get you two dorks home," Nightwing said leaning against the computer.

"Hey!" Robin and I said simultaneously in defense.

Nightwing snorted and laughed at us.

"Yup..." I said spinning in the chair, "That laugh is yours."

Robin chuckled faintly. He pulled up his wrist computer.

"So why Blüdhaven?" Robin asked Nightwing.

"Crime ridden," Nightwing shrugged. "And a good place to get out of 'The Bats' shadow."

"What's wrong with working behind Batman?" Robin asked, "Or with him I should say, since we're working alone now."

I stopped spinning and looked at Nightwing when he didn't answer Robin. He was glaring at the floor and gripping his bicep tightly.

"What's wrong, Dick?" I asked.

Robin looked at me looking horrified.

I frowned at him, "What?"

"You know my name!?"

"Yes Grayson," I said bluntly. "I know your name."

I looked back at Nightwing, "So what's wrong, Dick?"

"Nothing," he said still staring at the floor.

"Are you sure?" I asked, "You look pissed."

He glared up at me and I sunk down in the chair.

Robin glared at him and Nightwing returned the look.

It turned into a glaring match between them.

"Y'know," Robin said. "Just because our name is Dick doesn't mean you have to act like one."

Nightwing glared harder. "Go to bed..." he spat.

"Huh?" I hummed.

"Go...to...bed," he growled menacingly.

"Why?" Robin asked.

"Because it's three in the morning," he said darkly. "And you've had a long night."

I nodded and slid off the chair. I headed for the bed and got under the blankets.

Robin huffed, turned around, and marched to his own bed.

Nightwing turned the computer off, "I'll be back in a few hours."

I nodded and turned over.

Nightwing walked to a blocked exit and slipped out it into a darker area. He turned off the light and I heard a heavy metal door open and close.

The room was pitch black with the computer off. I closed my eyes and quickly drifted off.
