Dick's P.O.V
Tigress, Robin, and Artemis went on patrol. I sat at the computer going through every time travelers profile the league had on file, nothing seemed to be the guy Artemis and Robin described. I growled in frustration and punched the keyboard.
"Now, now, don't take your anger out on the computer."
"Get lost, Kaldur," I spat.
"No."
I sighed when he pulled me away from the computer, "I hate you."
"No you do not," he said.
I flipped him off.
He looked at the screen, "You do know the Team will help you if you need assistance."
"I'm just reading through reports," I said, crossing my arms.
"You seem very attracted to the time travelers category," he said, scrolling down the files.
"So?"
"Why is that, exactly?" He asked looking at me and crossing his arms.
"I want to kick my younger self's ass for being an immature dolt," I said sarcastically with a shrug.
He raised a brow at me, "Why not just wait for him to walk through that door?" He pointed at the garage door.
I snapped my eyes towards him. His face said he was serious.
I sighed, "How long have you known...?"
"Around a week," he said.
"Am I correct to assume the night you confronted me in my apartment?" I muttered.
"Yes," he nodded. "I saw them on the beds even though it was dark."
I nodded, "So...What?"
"What?" He asked in confusion.
"Are you going to tell the Team? Did you tell the Team?"
"No and no," he said. "This is your situation. I will not intervene unless you wish me to."
I sighed, "Thank you Kaldur."
He nodded, "How have you been feeling?"
"Well...I'm breathing," I sighed.
He put his hand on my shoulder, "You can get through this, my friend, I know you can."
"I've seriously been questioning if I can."
"You can."
I sighed.
"You do not believe me?" He asked.
"Kaldur...I can't even fight. How can you think I could get through this?"
"You can fight," he said.
I sighed.
"Must I prove to you that you can?"
I shrugged, "Sure..."
With that, he smacked me across the face.
I blinked, "Ow."
I blocked his hand when he went to do it again. "Dude," I said. "What the hell?"
I snatched his wrist when he attempted to punch me, "Kaldur!"
He went for a punch with his free hand and I grabbed it. I crossed his arms until his elbows met, then I head butted him.
He fell back. He shook his head, "See, my friend, your legs are not vital for fighting."
"What?"
"You blocked three out of four attacks and successfully landed your own," he said.
I raised a brow, "So?"
"So," he said walking to one of my equipment boxes. He threw a set of escrima sticks at me. "We practice."
I caught the weapon set. I stared at them, "Do you...really think I can do this...?"
"Of course you can Dick," he said, pulling out his Waterbearers.
"How...are you so sure...?" I asked slowly.
"What do you mean?"
I finally looked at him, "How do you know I can do this?"
"Because," he said. "You are Dick Grayson."
I sighed.
"I know you can do this for many reasons, Dick," he said. "You are Dick Grayson, Nightwing, The First Robin, The Dark Heir, and my favorite, my Second in Command of the Team."
"How am I supposed to be your Second in Command, if I can't even stand?"
"We will figure something out," he said easing into a fighting stance. I sighed and held my arms in a fighting position.
"Ready my friend?" He asked.
"As I'll ever be..."
He jerked a nod and charged at me.
