Tigress's P.O.V

I flipped the lab table and hid behind it.

"Tigress," Batman said. "What are you doing?"

I didn't respond. I gripped the restoration chip in my hand. I managed to swipe it before the bat-a-rang hit the stand. Tim probably grabbed the plastic square I had planned on replacing it with.

"Tigress!"

I popped up and threw a knife at him.

He caught it.

I ran at him and he blocked my foot when I went to kick him.

"Tigress, why are you doing this," he demanded.

I stood there a second then dived under his legs. I slid into the hallway and stabbed a knife down into his cape, pinning it to the floor.

I ran down the hall.

He followed me and I heard the knife rip his cape.

"Hey!" I yelped when a bola rope wrapped around me. I fell backward and the chip slipped out of my fingers.

Batman's heavy boot dropped down in front of my face and he grabbed the chip.

"What are you doing?" He demanded, looking down at me.

I didn't respond, glaring at him.

He sighed and walked away from me.

I slipped a knife out of my sleeve and started sawing at the ropes. I stood up and charged him.

He swung around and back handed me across the face.

I almost fell, but regained myself. Despite the fact I had a bloody nose, the hit didn't hurt as bad as I expected. I wiped the back of my hand over my top lip, wiping away the blood.

I pulled out my sword.

"You really want to do this don't you?" He sighed.

I swung my sword and sliced his should.

He grunted, "Guess you do."

I punched his jaw, he grabbed my arm and flipped me onto the floor. I cut his leg out from under him and flipped to my feet.

He pushed to his feet and I tried bolting away, but he grabbed my hair.

"Hey!" I yelped.

He threw me into the wall. He grabbed me by the neck and lifted me off the floor, holding me against the wall.

"Why are you holding back!" I spat, "It's like you're not even trying to win."

"I'm trying not to hurt you," he growled and dropped me.

I lunged at him, tackling him to the floor. He elbowed me in the side of the head, again it didn't hurt. He shoved me off of him and we both rolled to our feet.

I vaulted over him and ran down the hall.

"Tigress!" I heard Tim's voice in my ear.

"What Robin?" I asked into my communicator.

"I didn't say anything," Robin said.

"Not you!" Artemis, Tim, and I all said.

"We need different code names..." Robin muttered.

"Good idea," I said. "Who wants to change their name?"

"I will," Tim said.

"Good. You're T-Bird now."
