Dick's P.O.V

I looked up from the engine of the Mercedes when Tim walked in. I jumped in surprise when the horn blared.

"Really kitty!" I snapped throwing a wrench at the windshield.

Tigress laughed and leaned out the window, "Just be happy I didn't turn the car on why you were messing with the spark plugs dumbass!"

I rolled my eyes and looked at my grease covered hands. I looked at Tim, "Hand me that towel over there, Baby Bird?"

Tim grabbed the towel and brought it to me.

"Thanks buddy," I said wiping my hands off.

Tim looked at my face, "You have grease on your cheek."

I frowned hearing something in his voice. "What's wrong Timmy?" I asked wiping off the grease he said was on my face.

"I don't think the younger you likes me," he said shrugging.

"Why do you say that?" Tigress asked, getting out of the car.

Tim shrugged again, "He's just...being-"

"An ass?" I guessed.

"Not an ass necessarily, but he's definitely being mean."

"Aw," Tigress hummed. "Timmy has a bully. Want me to go beat him up?"

Tim shook his head, smiling at her.

"I'm still gonna," she chuckled. She cracked her knuckles and walked to the computer room, closing the door behind her.

I chuckled and slammed the hood of the Mercedes down. Tim jumped onto the hood and I jumped up next to him.

Tim leaned against my arm, resting his cheek on my shoulder.

"Just ignore him. He's just an immature dolt."

"Nice to know you love yourself, Big Bird," he said.

I looked at him, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing..."

"You're lying," I said bluntly.

"Am not."

I rolled my eyes, "Just tell me what's wrong."

"I just...remembered my parents..." he shrugged.

I nodded slowly and wrapped my arm around his shoulders, "Are you okay?"

He shrugged again, "Why wouldn't I be? It's not like they ever cared about me...why should I care about them...?"

I sighed, "Because you were blessed with a good heart."

"It sucks."

"Tell me about it," I sighed.

"Will your good heart bring you back to Bruce...?" Tim asked hesitantly.

I sighed, "Why do you keeping going back to the subject of Bruce?"

He shrugged, "I don't like that you guys aren't getting along...and...I really miss seeing you on the weekends."

"It's complicated, Timmy..."

"But..."

"No buts."

Tim sighed, "Fine...will you think about it?"

"Maybe."

He nodded faintly.

"C'mon," I said standing up. "Let's make sure Tigress didn't kill the past me."

Tim chuckled, "Okay."

He jumped off the car and followed me to the computer room.
