Dick's P.O.V
My eyes snapped open and I bolted upright. I was on Robin's medical bed.
Robin was staring at me blankly.
"What do you want?" I muttered.
"I was forced to watch you while Artemis and Tigress went to find Tim," he said rolling his eyes. "For some reason Tigress was freaking out over him leaving."
"This damn city is more dangerous than Gotham," I spat. "When you're me, you'll understand why Tigress got worried."
He rolled his eyes at me, "What happened to you? Tim didn't even hit you with that staff. He touched you with it, there wasn't even force."
"The staff is electrified," I said standing up. "Bruce took my suggestion on an electrified hand held weapon to keep him safe."
"Why? If he's good enough to be a Robin don't you think he'd be fine with a normal staff or our equipment?"
I glanced at him then down, "No..."
He frowned, "Why?"
I thought about telling him about Jason, but I decided not; the kid didn't need that heart break yet. "He's just safer with a weapon in hand."
He was about to say something, but the door to the garage flew open before he could. "We got a problem!" Tigress said quickly.
"What?" I groaned.
"Blockbuster has Tim..."
My eyes widened, "What!?"
"I didn't realize what was happening until he was caught and I saw him tied up and- I'm so sorry!"
I sighed, "Dammit Tigress."
"I'm sorry..."
"Whatever. Let's go get him."
Robin suddenly darted past me, "I'm coming too!"
I sighed. I was more worried about Tim than the younger me.
I hopped in the driver's seat and took off.
"I can't believe you let my little brother get caught," I spat.
"I didn't mean to!" Tigress said defensively.
"You watched!"
"I didn't even realize it was Blockbuster!"
"He's purple and over seven feet tall! How could you not know!?" I rolled my eyes, "I swear if he's dead, I'm gonna kill you!"
"He's not dead. If Blockbuster has him, then he's bait."
"I don't care! He could die!"
"Right..." She sighed.
"I know I'm right," I growled.
"No, turn right you dunce!" Tigress hissed grabbing the wheel and turning it so the car took a sharp right.
I heard Artemis and Robin yell in surprise when the car ran over the curb.
"Are you trying to break my wheels?" I muttered.
"Wheels or brother!" She growled.
"Well wheels, because if wheels are broken, brother dies!"
"Stop-"
"Hey," Artemis said leaning forward. "Mister and Missus Yells-a-lot."
"What!" Tigress and I growled.
"How about instead of fighting," she said, sass lacing her voice. "You chill out and discuss a plan on saving your Robin."
Tigress looked at me and I glanced at her.
"She doesn't need to say much to get us to shut up..." Tigress snickered.
"Yeah...who does she make you think of?" I chuckled.
Tigress nodded. "So..." She sighed as we got closer to the building, "What's the plan?"
