My eyes snapped open. I instantly started moaning, loudly, at the excruciating pain in my right arm. I cradled my arm, looking at it. It was tightly wrapped in blood stained bandages. I closed my eyes as pained tears started pricking my eyelids.

The monitor picked up with my heart that was beating faster from the pain.

"Ow..." I squeaked pathetically, my breath shaking. I yelped when someone grabbed my arm.

"Sorry," I heard the man from earlier say. "Here, I've got some painkillers."

I cracked my eyes open as he walked away, I watched him with tear blurred vision as he dug through a first aid box. He walked back to me carrying a bottle of painkillers and another bottle with water. I held the sheet and blanket over my chest and sat up.

I looked at him, though my eyes were still blurry.

He put two tablets of the painkiller in my hand and opened the water bottle. I know I shouldn't have, because I don't even know who this man is, but I put the painkillers in my mouth and swallowed them with the water.

"They should only take a minute to work," he said walking back to the box and put the painkillers away.

I rubbed the tears out of my eyes and looked at him more clearly in the dim lighting of the building.

All I could see was he was wearing a black, full bodied, spandex suit, including a pair of black gauntlets and combat boots. He had a thin, black, double strapped utility belt around his waistline and a holster carrying a set of black and blue escrima sticks attached to his right hip.

With him facing away, the only physical feature I could see was he had jet-black hair.

Something about him was familiar, but I couldn't place him.

The monitor spiked when I had a horrible realization. "Where's Robin!?" I cried.

"He's all right," the man said in a cool tone as he walked to a different box. "Don't worry."

"But where is he!?"

"On the bed behind you."

I swung my head around to look at Robin. He layed curled up on his bed, he also had a blanket around him, he had a few bruises and bandages were wrapped around his head, besides that, he looked like he was fine. I sighed in relief.

I looked back at the man and jumped when I came face-on with his chest, he had a bright blue bird spread across his pectoral muscles.

He held out a full set of clothes to me.

"Thank you..." I said taking the clothes. I glanced up at him, then looked away without getting a good look at his face, "Um...can you-"

"Say no more," he cut me off holding his hands up. He turned around and went to the computer. He stayed turned as he went through what looked like criminal files.

I got dressed, having some troubles with my arm, but I managed to get my arm through the sleeve without hurting myself. I tried letting my arm hang by my side, but it hurt too much to do that. I cupped my right wrist in my left hand and walked to the man and the computer. I hesitantly touched his shoulder.

He spun around almost cutting my feet out from under me, "Whoops, sorry."

I looked at his face, I couldn't see his eyes because they were hidden behind a domino mask, but now that I could actually look at him, I recognized him.

My eyes widened, "Robin?"
