Robin's P.O.V
Tigress and Dick stared at me in shock for a second.
Dick's lips began twitching at the corners and Tigress held her breath, biting her lip.
"You're dating an assassin!?" I screamed my voice breaking.
I heard Dick snort and Tigress giggle in her throat.
Artemis frowned, "Are you guys dating?"
Tigress spat a laugh and Dick hunched over his lap falling into a laughing fit. Tigress soon started her own fit. She drummed her hands on Dick's back as she laughed loudly.
"What's so funny?" I demanded.
Tigress shook her head and slid to the floor as she continued to laugh, tears slipping from her eyelids.
Dick grabbed his stomach. "Oh god!" He gasped between laughs, "That, that's just too good! I-I needed that!"
I glared at Dick.
"G-Good one, shorty!" Tigress laughed slapping the floor with her palm.
Artemis frowned and we looked at eachother.
After a few long minutes. They started to calm down.
Tigress stood up, swallowing her laughter. "I haven't laughed that hard in a couple of weeks," she said looking at Dick.
Dick nodded, "It's been a while for me."
"Anyways," Tigress said looking at Artemis and I. "We are not dating."
"Then why are you touching him so much and being so...'lovey'...to him?" I asked, "And how do you know his name?"
"I've been locked up for two months in an isolation cell; I'm gonna be clingy for a while," she said wrapping her arms around Dick again. "We're close so I'm being 'lovey', but it's not the kind of love you think...and I know his name because I've known him for so long."
"You told her your name and you knew she was an assassin!?" I yelled
"Yeah, pretty much," Dick said rubbing Tigress's forearm.
"What happened to 'protect your identity'!?" I snapped.
Dick's eyes hardened. "That's, The Bat's, rule," he growled.
"Which is a good one!" I growled back.
"She's known for a long time and hasn't told anyone," he said.
"Yeah! That you know of!" I countered.
Tigress pouted, "What? Don't trust me?"
I opened my mouth, but nothing came out.
"I don't see why we can't," Artemis said with a shrug.
I looked at her as if she had seven heads.
She raised a brow at me, "What?"
"You don't see why we can't!? You read her notes! How about the fact she's an assassin!" I shouted, "Or she's killed almost a hundred people! Or the fact that she worked for the League of Assassins! Or-"
"Enough!" Dick shouted, cutting me off. He jumped to his feet angrily.
I looked at him. Tigress was shorter than him, by maybe two inches.
I felt the guilt wash over me looking at Tigress, who looked hurt. She had her arms crossed and was looking at the floor.
Artemis smacked me in the shoulder. "Apologize," she hissed.
I rubbed my shoulder and scowled. I looked at Tigress again and my scowl fell.
"I'm sorry, Tigress..." I said, actually meaning it. "You've probably changed since then...I shouldn't have said any of that..."
She didn't respond. Dick put his hand on her shoulder.
"It's okay, shorty," Tigress said looking up. "I've heard worse."
"I'm still sorry," I said.
She shrugged. She looked at the floor again, examining it.
She looked up at Dick, "Do you even know how to use a mop?"
Dick smiled innocently. Tigress swatted his chest and walked away.
"What are you doing?" I asked when she opened a door in the far corner.
She came out with a bucket and mop. She handed them to Dick.
"Now clean this place before someone developes a respiratory infection."
Dick shrugged, put the bucket on the floor and dipped the mop into the soapy water in the bucket, he began mopping the floor.
"I know you can clean, I've seen you do it," Tigress said sauntering to the medical beds and sitting on Artemis's bed.
Dick grinned in amusement.
I looked at Tigress. She lounged back on the bed, putting her arms behind her head and pointing her knee to the ceiling.
I heard Dick chuckle, "Good to have you back, kitty."
