Dick's P.O.V

I groaned waking up, hearing music blaring outside my bedroom door, and smelling foods like bacon, eggs and pancakes cooking.

I looked at my alarm clock which displayed eight-thirty am. "Dammit," I muttered in a graveled voice. "Slept in."

I groaned again and tried clearing my dry throat. I grabbed the cup of water on my nightstand and drank it until there was nothing left.

Rubbing my eyes I threw my legs off the bed and stood up stretching. I stumbled into a pair of sweatpants and tripped to the door.

I grabbed the knob and opened the door. The loud music poured into my room, becoming louder without the door working as a barrier.

I yawned and walked down the short hallway; the music becoming even louder as I got closer. I stopped to look into my bathroom, I frowned in confusion at the fact that it was clean.

Shrugging, I continued down the hall and walked into my living room kitchen combo that was divided by a long counter.

I looked at Artemis, who was dancing around the kitchen, wearing only an oversized t-shirt that used to be Wally's and a pair of booty shorts, she lip synced to the song. Her semi-long blonde hair flew around crazily as she threw her head around to the beat of the song.

"Artemis," I said, not realizing my voice would be drowned out by the music.

She didn't hear me as she threw a pancake into the air, caught it in the pan like an expert chef and danced to the counter to cut up an apple.

"Arty!" I shouted, I still couldn't hear my own voice.

She slowly came to a stop as the music slowed then stopped, she snapped back into a dance the moment the music broke the instant of silence.

I smiled faintly, happy to see her having so much fun with a huge genuine smile glued to her face. I laughed and cheered her on when she started shaking her hips to the music's heightened speed.

The song slowly died and I sighed in relief.

"Morning kitty," I said.

She looked at me, now realizing I was there. She set a plate in front of me, "Morning Little Birdy, going top less just for me?"

"No, it's just comfortable," I chuckled, looking at my bare chest. "You having fun?" I asked.

She nodded, "I didn't wake you did I?"

"Nah, if anything I slept in."

"Slept in?" She asked, "It's eight thirty-five, how is that 'sleeping in'?"

I shrugged, "I wake up early?"

She sat next to me at the counter and started eating. "So how's work been?" She asked.

"Pretty good...though I'm probably on a thin line for supposedly killing you."

"Want me to clear things up?" She asked in a sly tone.

I frowned in confusion and looked at her. She held Tigress's crossbow, pointing it at the ceiling, smiling proudly.

My eyes widened, "No!"

"Aww," she whined sticking her bottom lip out and dropping her arm, still holding the crossbow. "You ruin my fun."

I snorted and nudged her head, "Because your fun is violent."

"Yup!" She smiled, "I see you left my room the way it was before I was arrested."

"I didn't want to mess with it," I shrugged. "It got pretty lonely without you here..." I confessed staring at the counter top.

"Aw, my Little Birdy missed me," she said standing up and hugging me.

I sighed and patted her arm.

She frowned, "What's wrong, Dick?"

"I..." I stopped and sighed, "Nothing..."

"Li-ar!" She jokingly snarled.

I looked away. Getting up, I took care of my plate.

"Dick?" She asked all amusement drained from her voice.

"I can't tell you..." I sighed washing the plate.

"Why not?" She asked and I heard her approach.

"Because you'll be mad at me..."

She wrapped her arms around my torso and rested her head against my shoulder blade.

"Whatever it is or how mad I get" she said. "You'll always be my little brother."

I yelped and started chuckling when she jumped on my back. I hooked my arms behind her knees when she wrapped her legs around my waist.

She gave me a big kiss on my cheek. She put her lips near my ear and whispered, "And I'll always love my little brother."
