She settled on top of her brother's shoulders as they went to find a place to settle in for the night.

"Gosh, I'm beyond starving Nana. Give me some food!" Her brother, Akai said with an impatient tone.

"Will you shut up for a minute? All you ever think about is food!" Nana replied, throwing a glare at her brother.

"You're so heavy and all this carrying just makes me hungry!" Her brother retorted, obviously meaning every word he said.

"Put me down then. I can walk on my own. I'd summon the cats to carry me instead." She said, jumping off Akai's shoulder.

Akai rolled his eyes and matched Nana's pace which was annoyingly fast.

"Slow down will you? The road won't run away." He shouted at her, fuming.

Nana continued her walk as if not hearing what her brother just said.

"Hey sister. I have an idea. Can I eat your cat friends instead?" Akai jokingly blurted out, mustering a cheeky grin.

Instantaneously, Nana's boomerang shot at Akai's butt and he yelped in pain.

"Don't you touch my friends!" She shouted, her face a shade of crimson.

His brother fell to the floor laughing exaggerately at his sister's outburst.

"Damn, take it easy there Nana. You're such a hot tempered elf." Akai yelled in between his scratching and hunger.

Nana went on her way while her brother trailed behind her.

Miya entrusted Nana to Akai's aid for the moonlight archer went back to her kingdom to take care of her sick brother, the king, Estes.

Miya, Nana and Akai met at the Fiery Realm while the elf and the archer were on their way to the Land of Dawn; while on the other hand, the Panda fighter was exiled from the Land of Dawn due to eating up all the food that his companions have stored for the winter season.

Eversince Miya left, Nana and Akai grew fond of each other and treated each other as siblings. The cat elf, often annoyed by her brother's peculiar thirst for food, set about hours of hunting to find food for him.

And Akai, being the brute, strong one, would look out for his sister while she scavenged for food.

"Here you go fat bum." As Nana handed to his brother a bunch of wild bananas.

His face lit up instantly, as if seeing gold and gems after a strenous hunt.

"Thank you my little cat elf. Have some." Replied her brother, Akai handing her two bananas.

"Wow. I never knew you could share." Nana shot back, her tone screaming for sarcasm.

"Well, I only share to those I hold dear. Now eat up and stop being a wuss." Akai said, devouring each banana with just a single munch.

The two were instructed by Miya to go the Land of the Assassins to offer their aide since this land constantly fought off darklings and evil mages of the realm and they need more allies.

With Nana's summoning abilities and Akai's brute force, the Land of the Assassins will be stronger than ever.

"Are we there yet, brother?" Nana asked, with a sleepy, groggy voice.

Her brother smiled and reached for her. He placed her on his back and carried her like he always did.

"Yes Nana, we're almost there." He replied, as he took slow yet sure steps with his sister in tow.

The sunlight grew thin and the moon started to appear, with high hopes and a sibling to hold, the two continued on their bittersweet journey.
