Somewhere in Scholar city, Harley woke to the sound of pounding machineries pitted to each other; the crackle of metal upon metal keeping the city alive as it is.
It was the same thing everyday and he was loving the routine surprisingly well. Although his sole reason for staying in Scholar city isn't to chill and let time pass by without doing anything, he was grateful for the short detour that he accidentally vested upon himself.
He was supposed to plot a plan that would lead to the Dark Wizards' downfall but he somehow managed to send himself to another place.
Back in Magical city, Harley was vastly sought after for his magical finesse and skills yet when he arrived in Scholar, he was just another "magician" with tricks in his sleeve.
The people in this well-developed city clung to science and inventions more than Harley can depend on magic.
Scholars do not believe in magic and mana. They worship man's ability to innovate and invent things that could make them into greater beings. Harley respected that.
He was also grateful for master Rooney, Scholar city's head scholar, for taking him in after he told the master about his mischievous teleportation.
He also met wonderful friends in the city. Bruno and Lolita were his closest buddies.
Its funny how he once wanted to get out of the city and return to his home so badly yet now, he has gained a reason to stay longer.
He was attracted to someone he never knew he would actually like. When they met, she seemed rather boyish and fierce. Almost seeming too strong for her physique.
She had wonderful almond shaped brown eyes, that shame the daylight's reign. Her smile, decadent and poignant, seeming to be too much of a luxury for Harley to dwell in.
Lolita.
Lolita who had her eyes set on Bruno's.
Harley liked someone who has eyes for someone else. He could bear that notion. He wanted to anyway.

From a clear vantage point, Angela could see Harley idly staring out into the clearing. He seemed way too absorbed of his thoughts.
It has been months since Angela has been sent by Dr. Gogh to master Rooney but she never dared talk to anyone aside from the master.
She was too scared that she resembled no human trait and that gave her a disadvantage. But Dr. Gogh once told her that she was greater than any human being out there, even if she isn't human to begin with, for she has a magnanimous amount of love and peace in her heart and those things, transcends any other notion in the realm.
She wanted to talk to Harley, to make him her friend, but she didn't know how to. Gogh taught her a lot of things but making friends isn't one of it.
She was about to call out his name when Harley's gaze fell upon hers. She shut the windows in haste and closed the curtains in utter embarrassment.
"Way to go in making friends, Angela." She whispered to herself as she stood up and went out to seek for master Rooney.
