A roundhouse kick ended his attacker's life. He snatched the medicine orb from the dead man's hand and returned it to the helpless old wizard that was running for his life moments ago. A hound demon threatened the wizard; it's nails as long as its body and its hair thick and abysmal black.
He smiled as he said his goodbyes to the wrinkled hooded man. He instructed the man to be wary of his belongings and not to go deep in the forest alone.
"I miss Master Chin." He uttered softly, thinking about the old monk that he left back in the slums. Without his master, his life would be different from the one he is living now. He would be a boy alone in the seams, beaten up by notorious gangsters and greedy civilians.
Chou took a deep breath and went on with his journey. His destination, which is the heart of the Land of Dawn tired him up until his bones. He was going on a trip and he didn't even know his purpose. He was walking blindly.
In the midst of his strength and newly acquired skills, he found himself unworthy of such. He was just a guy from the slums who learned Kung Fu; but deep in his heart, he dreamt of saving the world and freeing it from all evil.
