Going further and deeper into the tomb felt like you were heading towards the very center of the earth. It made you a bit lightheaded and afraid as you huddled a little closer towards the tall man holding the flash light. ''And here we are.'' Squeaking in surprise and shock as you bumped into his back, a green eye slides toward you in amusement. ''So, no one knows who's tomb this is?'' A negative shake of shaggy, neat brown hair. ''I'm afraid not.'' ''Tch, he must've been a really shitty king to not have his name wrote down in history.'' A student spoke up. You whirled around, glaring in anger at the disrespect. ''H-How dare you! This place is sacred. We're practically on holy grounds and you're speaking poorly of one of these people's rulers! Have some respect!''

''Alright you two. That's quite enough.'' Those green eyes never left your retreating figure disappearing at the call of your teacher's voice. ''...At last, I've found her. His highness will be most pleased.'' A small but growing smirk crossed his face. Once out of the tomb and back at the hotel to calm down, you took the chance to look out the window for the sunset. It truly looked beautiful here and had often wondered if this was what they saw when alive. Curiosity nagged at your brain, even during dinner time while everyone else was eating at the buffet the hotel had provided for them. You, not feeling hungry, leaves the lobby letting your feet take you through the stone cobbled pathways of the market district.

Suddenly stopping, looking up to see a candle flickering in a nearby window. A familiar head pokes out. ''Ms. L/N? What're you doing out here, little one? Don't you know it's dangerous for a young woman to be out here after 8?'' Blushing in embarrassment, you tug on a strand of your H/C hair. ''I had to come back outside. I-I wanted to be away from them for a while.'' Green eyes shone in understanding but also still held a stern aura that reminded you of your father. ''Nevertheless, come inside. I will call your teacher and inform him of your location.''

Gulping and nodding, you were ushered inside, door closing behind you. The curator's home was spacious and yet, housed a variety of books upon books of ancient Egyptian culture and art. But what caught your attention, was the lavender colored amulet within the mini display case on his coffee table. ''Um, what is this? It's beautiful.'' Green eyes looked over from the tea pot. ''Ah. I found that in the tomb earlier after your class had returned to the lobby. Strangely enough, it was inside the sarcophagus we uncovered a month ago.'' You made a curious noise. ''Why?'' ''Pardon?'' ''I mean, why was it inside of it?'' A almost mysterious smile crossed his face for a moment. ''As I said before Ms. L/N, no one knows who this pharaoh was. We don't even have a name.''

''Oh. I see.'' Sensing your disappointment, a thought came. ''Hey, why don't you take it? I'm certainly no fan of jewelry. Your eyes widen. ''B-But I can't! That would be stealing from the Egyptian people and...'' ''I insist.'' Gently placing the gem necklace around your neck, it felt cool to the touch. ''A-Alright...'' It was nearing midnight as he looks out the window. ''Damn it, a sandstorm of all times?'' He then turned his attention back to you. ''Well little lady, it appears that you'll be staying here until morning.'' You slowly nod in agreement. It was too dangerous to go out and back now.
