You blinked twice. You didn't really expect him to do this. Let alone still maintain his human self after so long. ''You may want to get back. The last thing I want to do is to cause you harm.'' His genuine affection towards you made you not entirely afraid of him. Not anymore for now at least. The very least. Nodding, you scoot backwards and off the couch across the bloodied room. Oh. How are you going to explain this to the teacher? To their parents? A freak accident? That could work. It would have to. The sudden sound of chanting came to your ears. It was odd, strangely enchanting and all incredibly unnerving at the same time. A long dead language. If only you could understand what was being said!
A bright yellow light engulfed the room for a split second but it still powerful enough to force you to cover your eyes. Seconds ticked by. Nothing. Maybe it didn't work?
Oh, it worked. Incantations like that never fail. Apprehension and rising panic wracked your nerves. The light had long since died down but you continued to keep your eyes closed. Once again, the sound of footsteps hit your ears. So did a short amused chuckle. ''You can open your eyes now.'' You never did quite understand why your gender would act so crazy over the opposite sex. Now standing before you, and quite close; almost invading the personal bubble area, was a guy. No, he isn't normal. Not by a long shot. Peeking through fingers before lowering your hands, you couldn't help but to blush.
He's exactly as you had always pictured a ancient ruler to be. The three colored hair was your personal favorite, the once ruby red eyes that had once scared you since this whole thing came into play had transitioned into a smooth shade of purple; amethyst. You were positive of that. You weren't one for physical appearance, but so far, this ghost now solid form of a male was attractive. You suddenly shook your head. These are the past feelings of the other girl he lost. Not yours. Amethyst eyes narrowed suddenly, sharpened male features frowning in disappointment and worry.
''You're doubting yourself aren't you?'' With no response from you, you were once again encased in now tangible arms. Which you vaguely noted were tan. And muscular. Damn it, stupid teenage girl hormones waking up! ''You have no reason to doubt me Y/N. Why should the dead have hold over me while alive?'' he tilts your face up to meet his, eyes softening in tenderness and adoration. ''Yes, you do have her light, but I have a feeling she would not want me to treat her reincarnation as a shadow.'' his fingers gently comb through your hair, eyes still enchanting you further into his spell. No, not a spell. Love. He's asking you to not dwell and accept him. ''Never will I let myself mistake you for another. Even if by accident.'' A light, feathery kiss was placed upon your forehead, spiked bangs tickling the exposed skin.
''Please. Never feel inadequate around me.'' You could only nod. Too shocked and overwhelmed to speak. ''You're so much more than that. I can tell.'' his tone dropped a octave, barely a whisper. ''So much more...'' you saw white behind your eyelids again as his mouth took yours again. Oh...He's warm. Really warm and soft. A moist wet tongue slides around and over your lips, tracing their shape but never entering. It was as if he was aware that you were still pure. Untouched. He wouldn't want that any other way. For he will be the one to have your innocence to himself. Gods be damned.
